Congratulations!Taishan AFC Champions League is expected to avoid Yokohama Mariners and Jeonbuk Hyundai, and the prospect of promotion is promising
A few days ago, the Asian Football Association officially announced the AFC Champions League group stage grouping plan. A total of eight teams entered the group stage of the AFC Champions League in this year's East Asian League. According to the new rules of the AFC, the five first-place teams are ranked first, and the three second-place teams are placed second. In the group stage, any team will be excluded, and according to this rule, Shandong Taishan will not play against Japan's Yokohama Marino. At the time of the draw, one of the five teams in the first tier will play against the second team.
Shanghai Port, the league's Premier League favourite, were beaten out by Thailand's Barton United in the group stage. The other two teams from the Chinese Super League, Wuhan Three Towns and Zhejiang, failed to qualify for the next round. Shandong Taishan is the only Super League team to enter the group stage of the AFC Champions League. The other two teams in the K-League, Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Hyundai, are both champions of this edition. In other words, these two South Korean teams will not meet Shandong Taishan. So far, in the 1 16 match, Shandong Taishan has only 4 teams to play against: Japan's Kawasaki Frontale, Thailand's Bangkok United, Japan's Kofu Wind Forest, and South Korea's Pohang Steel.
This season, Kawasaki shooter is the 8th place in the Japanese Football League. Pohang Steel's Brazilian secondary school striker Zeka could move to Shandong Taishan at the end of the season. This also means that if Shandong Taishan meets an opponent in the group stage who is not Tietou Zeka, then it is very likely that Shandong Taishan will play a good game at his former club. However, in recent years, the teams of the Chinese Super League have not had much chance of winning in matches against Japan and South Korea. The departure of two key players from Shandong Taishan, Marouane Fellaini and Moisés, has cost them dearly. As for the relatively weak Kofu Wind Forest, Bangkok United is the team that Shandong Taishan most wants to encounter in the group stage. As a Japanese second division team, Kofu Wind Forest has a much weaker overall level than other teams in the J-League. However, for Thai teams, the Super League team has a better chance of winning.
As far as I am concerned, this system of drawing lots is very beneficial to Shandong Taishan. At the very least, Taeje can beat Yokohama Mariners and Jeonbuk Hyundai, where Choi Kang-hee once coached, in the group stage. This is the best draw in Shandong Taishan. If Shandong Taishan is lucky enough to meet opponents such as Jiafu Fenglin and Bangkok United in the group stage, the possibility of Taishan qualifying will be greatly increased, and Cui Kangxi will lead Shandong Taishan to win more glory for his team in the group stage of the AFC Champions League.
