Mr. Su, first of all, thank you for accepting our interview. You have a wealth of experience in different aspects of the automotive industry, what was the opportunity for you to join Zhixing Box?

Su Weibin: The fate with Zhixing Box began in December last year, when Zhixing Box had just completed the commercialization and the overall design of the transportation capacity platform, and I was deeply touched by the innovative thinking embodied in Zhixing Box. From that moment on, I became interested in Chi Xing Box and continue to follow its development. It can be said that what Chi Heng Box is doing is exactly what I have long wanted to achieve in the past but have not been able to achieve.

I have been working in the automotive industry for many years, from the beginning of technology and manufacturing, to the end of financial management, import and export, overseas sales, except for vehicle research and development, all other positions have been involved.

After experiencing cross-border entrepreneurship and participating in the investment of automobile groups, I combined my strengths and career ideals to look forward to the development of the automotive industry today, "new energy" and "intelligence" are two key words that can never be bypassed. After thinking about it, I hope to take on the challenge of further challenging in the field of smart mobility.

The positioning of Zhixing Box cleverly combines the travel market, new energy vehicles, and transportation capacity operation, and the business model revolves around the three cores of the travel market: deeply customized vehicles, smart travel commercial cockpit ecology, and efficient transportation capacity platform. At the same time, on the basis of the definition of the vehicle, combined with the ride demand, the product is defined by subtractive thinking. It does not need to follow the thinking of OEMs in different dimensions such as performance, driving, and energy consumption.

On the other hand, Zhixing Box increases the revenue of the operation side and the driver side through vehicle operation and travel services. It can not only improve the travel experience, but also further tap the commercial potential of B-end travel, and realize the cost reduction and efficiency increase of the whole travel industry.

In your opinion, what is the business model of Zhixing Box?What is the reason for its success?

Su Weibin: There are three parts to the total income of Zhixing Box**. The first is the vehicle sales revenue after the future customized car achieves a certain scale;The second is to help online car-hailing companies and travel platforms operate vehicles through the operation system after the vehicle is sold, and help drivers expand orders to obtain incomeFinally, through intelligent cockpit operation, we will further explore the commercialization potential of the mobile space to create diversified revenues. However, the traditional B-end travel vehicles do not have such a profit model after they are sold.

From customizing vehicles, to operation, to commercialization, there is a need for a lot of coordination both inside and outside the company. So far, none of them have brought together the three aspects in a systematic way at the same time, and this is what attracts me the most about Chi Heng Box.

After your analysis, it is even more difficult to be a company that integrates customized vehicles, operation and commercial development, so what is the logic of Zhixing Box's entry into the game now?

Su Weibin: For mature OEMs, the C-end has a broad consumer base, and in order to reach consumers, they need to invest a lot of energy and cost in sales channels and end customers, and they also need high sales volume to make profits. Under the thinking of diluting costs through high sales to achieve profits, B-end oriented products will not be mentioned in a very important position. Mobility companies obtain revenue by operating vehicles, and operating vehicles need more ecosystems to cooperate, such as the integration of data and vehicles, the construction of intelligent cockpits, and so on. Therefore, travel companies will have a lot of demands on OEMs, but it is difficult to get a positive response to these demands.

In the gap between the two, the Chi Heng box has the opportunity to become a point of convergence subtly. Whether it is a traditional OEM or a travel company in the current market, it is difficult for them to cooperate organically with the other party. At the very beginning of the project, it was decided to obtain revenue through vehicle operation and commercialization services, rather than simply relying on sales. This is precisely what neither the original automaker nor the mobility company has, and it is also an important factor in the success of the Zhixing Box.

You joined Chi Heng Box because you were attracted by its innovative points. On the other hand, what do you think you can fill in the gaps in the Chi Heng box?

Su Weibin: Although I have rich experience in the automaker, it is all a traditional automaker model dominated by sales, and the future development direction of the auto industry must be new energy + intelligence. Zhixing Box empowers vehicles through AIoT and big data, creates a new format of shared travel, and has the vision of being a service provider for urban intelligent travel. It was also a timely invitation for me.

I analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the Zhixing Box team, who excelled in project innovation but lacked experience in the process of moving vehicles from production to sales. At the same time, as the scale increases, further investment in the operational side will be required. Each of the above links and value points needs to be supplemented with a large number of talents in order to enrich the entire value chain, and my experience can make up for this deficiency.

I don't mean that I simply want to go to Zhixing Box to sell or manufacture cars, but to use my experience in the field of complete vehicles to help Zhixing Box sort out the process, and constantly improve and innovate.

At the same time, as the size of the team expands, how to manage, evaluate and motivate employees becomes even more important. Based on my management experience, only by formulating a reasonable performance appraisal and incentive mechanism, so that talents can actively develop their potential and cooperate with each other, can Zhixing Box better face market competition and occupy a place in the market.

Su Weibin: Actually, the success of any company has its own successful business logic. After the success of the business logic, the rest depends on ability, effort, and choice.
