If a worker is seriously injured and wants to be disability, what is the standard of identification? Which standard should be used?
To insure workers, do you buy a work standard or a trade standard? Which ** is suitable?
To put it simply, there are two main standards for disability identification for workers, one is the work standard (also known as the national standard) and the other is the industry standard.
The work standard refers to the "Disability Rating of Work-related Injuries and Occupational Diseases of Employees in the Labor Ability Appraisal" (GB T16180-2014), and the industry standard refers to the "Grade 10 Disability Assessment Standard for Life Insurance in the Insurance Industry" (China Insurance Association 2013 (88) document).
To put it simply, what is the difference between them?
Generally speaking, when facing a worker's disability identification and disability claim, it will be more beneficial for the worker if the insurance is covered by the work standard, because the work standard threshold is low, it is easier to identify the disability, and it is easier to obtain disability claims.
At the same time, according to the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance, when a worker claims disability compensation from the employer, the disability level is assessed according to the standard of the work standard.
Of course, when applying for insurance, if the insurance company agrees to underwrite the work standard, the work standard premium is relatively higher; Even so, we may not be able to insure the work standard when we are insured, because group accident insurance, construction accident insurance, considering the subsequent claim rate, insurance companies are often more inclined to underwrite the industry standard.
