Not long ago, Hua Jun organized graduate students to study in Wushan and revisit this very familiar mountainAfter visiting the mountain, the teachers and students had a new understanding. Wu Shan next to the school was not as familiar as he thought.
Hua Jun believes that he grew up at the foot of Wu Mountain, and his family and work revolve around Wu Mountain, but this mountain is still "familiar and unfamiliar" to him: he often takes a nap in Baocheng Temple, but he has never seen the cliff inscription behind Ruan Gong Temple.
During this visit to the mountain, he had another feeling about the relationship between people and the mountain: "When I walk on the slope, I feel that we and the mountain are one. 'I see how charming Qingshan is, and I think Qingshan should be like this when he sees me. At this time, the mountains were watching me. ”

Hua Jun pointed out that "synthesis" is not the "synthesis" that figures, landscapes, flowers and birds should be painted, but to examine Chinese painting in a larger context. "If we compare the West Lake to a Chinese painting, because of today's special location and special perspective, we can see that the West Lake is divided into inside and outside, and we can also see the relationship between the West Lake and the city and the mountains. ”
In the process of artistic creation, it is a unique perspective to jump out of the original environment and look at the familiar field. Hua Jun is preparing for a solo exhibition, in which "Other Mountains" and "The Relationship between People and Landscapes" are the core directions of his current thinking and exploration.
Li Jiawen worked on Wushan, and as the person who knew Wushan best in the wind collection group, he served as the tour guide for this wind collection. She pointed out that Wushan is one of the most important mountains by the West Lake, where Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism exchange cultures. The stone quality of the limestone brings some holes to the mountain, thus creating a large space for imagination and forming a heavy "cave sky" landscape.
I think that the cave sky may not be just a visual cave. When people are in the space of the cave, they can feel the feeling of being surrounded by mountains, and there is a close relationship between the mountains and 'me', and we have become a whole with nature, and we can communicate with each other. ”
I'm with the mountains
Through the day study of Wushan, the graduate students thought of the story between themselves and the mountain, and everyone shared their own experience and feelings about mountaineering. Many of the students come from all over the world, and many of them come from the "mountain", and each of them has a different first impression of the "mountain".
The mountains of the north, majestic and majestic;The mountains in the south are warm and beautiful. From the three mountains and five mountains to the dirt slope behind the house to the artificial rockery, the students moved from this 98-meter-tall Wu Mountain to a variety of mountains, and thought of the various possibilities of the emotional relationship between "me" and the mountain.
Hua Jun thought of his first climb to the Yellow Mountain when he was 11 years old, where he drew more than 70 sketches and made the landscape ** "Yellow Mountain Map".
A student sighed: Everyone should have their own "other mountain" in their hearts.
Creation of Chinese paintings
Wen Chengyuan, who is not only a Ph.D. student, but also engaged in teaching Chinese painting, thought of the creation of Chinese painting through the experience of studying Wushan.
No matter what the subject matter of Chinese painting, it is a carrier of expression. In the beginning, when it was an object, it was just a 'scene' that did not carry meaning, and what we had to do was to turn it into a 'scenic spot'. ”
On the way to the mountain, Wen Chengyuan noticed a stone that had been washed away by the rain, which had a special beauty, and Hua Jun told everyone that it was "stone tendons" - the bones of the stone. Wen Chengyuan thinks of the use of brush and ink in the creation of Chinese painting, and she feels that brush and ink is a quality of the hand. "This feeling should come from a beautiful thing that we actually see at the beginning, and we should remain sensitive and concerned about beautiful things. ”
