"This is the Old Summer Palace" cultural tour exhibition is based on the "Old Summer Palace Narrator" project, adhering to the original intention of "telling the story of the Old Summer Palace and continuing the Chinese culture", through the combination of time and space, the comparison between the present and the past, with a large number of historical and documentary materials of the Old Summer Palace, re-see the vicissitudes of the Old Summer Palace, present the beauty of the Yuan Ming Dynasty in its heyday, and enhance cultural self-confidence and self-improvement.
At the launching ceremony, Qiu Wenzhong, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Management Office of the Old Summer Palace, said that this exhibition is another new exploration of "bringing cultural relics to life", and a useful attempt to strengthen the linkage between the park and the park and the cultural empowerment of universities. It is hoped that the students of ** Minzu University can draw wisdom and strength from the cultural heritage of the Old Summer Palace and establish a correct view of history and culture. The Old Summer Palace is a historical witness to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Through the display of the garden art, cultural value and historical changes of the Old Summer Palace, this exhibition will further enhance the recognition and pride of teachers and students in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, enhance the cultural self-confidence and self-improvement of teachers and students, and stimulate the endogenous power of teachers and students to comprehensively promote the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese-style modernization.
In the expert lecture session, Kan Hongliu, director of the Qing Dynasty Royal Garden Research Center and doctor of history at Renmin University of Chinese, gave a speech entitled "Lower Garden: Also on the Social Impact of the Old Summer Palace's Governance", revealing to the students that the Old Summer Palace not only made outstanding contributions to art and culture, but also played a pivotal role in the political direction of the Qing Dynasty.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, there were a number of interactive sessions of "I am the narrator of the Old Summer Palace", and the students actively participated in the interaction, and also used their own words and ways to tell the history and culture of the Old Summer Palace. In the cultural competition and check-in activities of the Old Summer Palace, everyone had a deeper understanding and experience of the breadth and profundity of Chinese culture in the form of calligraphy, stimulated their love and interest in traditional culture, and further promoted the spread and inheritance of traditional culture on campus.
