The east is adjacent to the Jieshi, in order to view the sea.
The water is surging, and the mountains and islands are sturging.
The journey of the sun and the moon, if out of it;
The stars are splendid, if out of it.
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms Cao Cao "Watching the Sea".
Translation: Heading eastward to climb Jieshi Mountain, you can enjoy the wonders of the sea. The sea is turbulent, and the mountains and islands in the sea are lined up, towering and erect. The rise and fall of the sun and the moon seem to come from the bosom of the sea;The brilliant stars in the Milky Way also seem to emerge from the embrace of the sea. This poem was composed on Cao Cao's victorious expedition to Wuhuan on his way back to his division. As the commander-in-chief, Cao Cao climbed the Jieshi that Emperor Song and Han Wu had also climbed, and his mood was as difficult to calm down as the sea. Therefore, I wrote this poem to integrate my grand ambition and broad mind into the poem, and expressed it through the image of the sea.
