This book is not only a fairy tale for children, but also a philosophical book for adults.
About the AuthorThe author of this book, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, was born in Lyon, France, and was one of the first generation of French pilots. 1. Lean over to listen and protect the child's innocence
No one is forever young, but our longing for childhood is forever. This is a sentence on the cover of "The Little Prince", and it is also a sentence that I will never forget after reading "The Little Prince". I believe that many people will feel ridiculous when they read this book, but at the same time, they also feel that they were as innocent as the little prince when they were children.
In fact, every child has his own ideas and is the "little prince" in his own world. Teachers should listen to the children's voices with their hearts, empathize with their feelings, and not criticize their childish practices, but try to protect their little thoughts and care for their precious innocence with love. In the adult world, children don't need to know too much to make their childhood more colorful and innocent. Maybe in the future, on the road of their growth, these precious innocent and interesting times can always warm them and give them the strength to move forward.
Second, leave blank space appropriately and return sovereignty to children
When the little prince asked, "Please help me draw a sheep", the author drew many different sheep. However, none of them were what the little prince wanted, until the author drew a box for the little prince and said, "The sheep you want is in it", and the little prince became very happy, because this is the "sheep" in the little prince's heart.
We always wish we could give more to our children, but is that what our children want?The mysterious box containing the sheep is obviously more in line with the little prince's heart, and the children's own Xi activities are more in line with their interests, which makes me realize that it is better to give children a box to give children "sheep" directly and uniformly, although there is no visible "ready-made sheep", but children have more possibilities to find the "sheep" in their minds.
3. Teach children according to their aptitude and adapt the rules to the children
When the little prince asked the king to "command the sun to go down," the king said, "You can't command someone to do what he can't do, authority is first and foremost based on reason." ”
Due to physiological factors, psychological factors, environmental factors, there are different degrees of differences between children, they have their own preferences and ability development needs, in the face of different development needs, in teaching, life, we should take into account the characteristics of different children, according to their aptitude. "There are no rules, not a square circle", but the rules are not immutable, the regulations need us to observe carefully in the implementation process, adjust in time according to the actual situation of the child, stand in the perspective of the child, think about the needs of the child, and the child will also bring us "surprises"!
Fourth, communicate and convey love by listening
Between the proud rose and the inexperienced little prince, who missed out because he didn't know how to express his love, it was the fox who taught the little prince to communicate and love. Teachers and children undoubtedly love each other, but our love also needs to be expressed in a reasonable way.
All the adults are children first, but only a few of them remember that." As teachers, we need to really "listen" to what children are saying, and when they tell you about small things that you think "don't matter", you can't refuse or get distracted. If children feel that the teacher is listening to them, they will be willing to talk to the teacher when they are really struggling. We also need to take seriously what the child says, especially when the child is very serious about what the teacher is telling the teacher, our attitude of not taking it for granted will only hurt the child. Every child is an angel. The spirituality and beauty that naturally exudes from them, the small curiosity and peculiar imagination they show are all worthy of our cherishing and protection.
Teachers should not only "teach", but also "educate", we should pay more attention to the inner world of children, and care for their innocent childhood with our hearts. As the book says - "Important things cannot be seen with the eyes, only the heart can see clearly"!
