In my personal experience and the college students I see around me, this is not necessarily the case.
The starting point is higher
Whether it's looking for a job or getting a certificate, having a bachelor's degree is much better to some extent.
For example, the threshold of slightly better units is set at the bachelor's degree, and if you don't have a bachelor's degree, you won't even have the opportunity to submit your resume. There is also a certificate, compared with the junior college, the requirements for the number of years of work will be correspondingly reduced.
We randomly cited a major and selected some of the announcement's requirements for academic qualifications.
In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Matters Concerning the Reduction or Cancellation of the Working Years Requirements for Some Access Vocational Qualification Examinations (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Fa 2022 No. 8), from 2022, the working years requirements for the professional qualification examination for licensed pharmacists will be adjusted as follows:
(1) Obtain a college degree in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and have worked in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for at least 4 years.
(2) Obtain a bachelor's degree or bachelor's degree in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and work in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for at least 2 years.
(3) Obtain a second bachelor's degree, graduate or master's degree in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine, and work in pharmacy or traditional Chinese medicine for at least one year.
(4) Obtain a doctorate degree in pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine.
The higher the academic qualification, the shorter the time for the examination. Even the certificate to be examined for the junior college does not need to be taken at all, and as long as you graduate, you will be directly recognized as the lowest level of technical personnel.
Choose more
Whether it is the public examination, postgraduate entrance examination, or employment, undergraduates have more choices than junior college students.
Slightly better units require a bachelor's degree or above to apply for the examination, and the junior college can only choose the kind of three unlimited positions, and the competitive pressure has also increased sharply.
There are also very few schools to choose for postgraduate entrance examinations, and if you use a bachelor's degree to directly enter the graduate school, there is no difference between choosing a school and an undergraduate student in the ordinary college entrance examination.
In addition, undergraduates can directly participate in the postgraduate entrance examination in school, while junior colleges need to apply for the examination with candidates with the same academic ability 2 years after graduation, and many colleges and universities will add test subjects to students who directly apply for the junior college, which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of going ashore.
There are more opportunities to enter the system
At the end of the work is the compilation. "Stable and good benefits of a job with an establishment are the lifelong pursuit of many people.
But if you compare the number of corresponding positions between junior college and undergraduate in the recruitment examination in the system, you can understand the real situation.
Especially in the current situation of graduate student expansion, the requirements for academic qualifications in the system will only get higher and higher. Many jobs that can be done in undergraduates require a minimum of graduate students, so undergraduates can only squeeze the positions of junior college students.
If you have checked the academic qualifications of the number of applicants recruited by public institutions, you will find that the positions marked with the requirements of "college degree or above" are only required, and about 5 out of 10 applicants will have a bachelor's degree.
The resources and circles encountered are better

If you go to a better school than your current level, there is a good chance that your level will change with the change of circles. For example, things like connections, the resources that you can buy with money are not equal.
The real connections and resources are the most reliable when you have the value to use each other.
If you take the matter of settling in the city as an example, although this is still far away from you, if you want to settle in a big city, your education must be the fastest way for you to save money.
Moreover, some cities will also have a certain amount of talent subsidies for personnel with a bachelor's degree or above, ranging from 200 to 2000 months.
If you plan to go to graduate school, there are still ways to introduce talents, such as entering public institutions directly without written examinations, and giving a certain amount of housing subsidies, settling-in allowances, talent green cards, etc.
And the above are all opportunities that a college degree cannot bring you.
