How to fold a four page student ID into a sleeve

The student ID card is one of the important identity documents that every student must have, which not only records the student's personal information, but also has the function of identifying and proving identity. In order to protect the integrity and security of the student ID, we usually put it in a case to prevent damage or loss. Below, I'll introduce a method of folding a sleeve that works for a four-page student ID.

First, prepare the materials and tools you need, including:

A piece of cardboard or cardboard of the appropriate size to serve as the outer support of the sleeve.

A slightly smaller piece of paper that acts as the inner spacer of the case.

Scissors, glue, or double-sided tape.

Ruler and pencil for easy measurement and marking.

Next, follow these steps to make the stacked cover:

Step 1: Measure and cut cardboard or cardboard.

Use a ruler to measure the dimensions (length and width) of your four-page student ID. Then, mark the corresponding dimensions with a pencil and ruler on cardboard or cardboard and cut them out with scissors.

Step 2: Fold the cardboard or cardboard.

Lay the freshly cut cardboard or cardboard flat, and then determine the width of the sleeve according to the thickness of the student ID. On both sides of the cardboard or cardboard, leave appropriate gaps for each, and fold inwards to make it a U-shape. Make sure that the folded width is slightly larger than the thickness of your student ID.
