It can be seen that there are often consecutive waves of away games in the NBA regular season, mainly for two reasons:

For example, it is not uncommon to see teams facing the Lakers and Clippers in back-to-back games, or the Knicks and Nets back-to-back games away. Why?Because these two groups of teams are in the same city, and even the Lakers and Clippers are in the same arena, the distance between the games is very close.
At the same time, the NBA's divisions are actually divided according to geographical location, and under normal circumstances, teams in the same division are relatively close to each other, so there are often situations where they challenge one region away from home in a row.
For example, it is often a succession to play the Magic and the Heat, or a succession to play the Mavericks, Spurs, and Rockets. When the Southwest Division was strong, the NBA also had an evaluation that in the Southwest Devils Division, whoever came had to lose the skin.
2. There are other arrangements for the home stadium.
Some NBA arenas are rented, and some arenas are owned, but even if the arena is owned, there may be other arrangements, such as renting it to others to play games or hold concerts.
