Three minutes to talk about culture
What are the six doors of the "six doors"?
Folklore has it that Six Gates was founded in the early years of the Tang Dynasty to solve elusive crimes and eliminate the powerful who threatened the imperial court.
The members of this mysterious organization are carefully selected by the Criminal Department, and they are not only highly skilled in martial arts, but also possess the magical ability to fly into the sky and the earth, and can do almost anything.
However, the "Six Doors" does not really exist as the Six Gates, but is the collective name of the Yamen of the Three Dharma Divisions.
In the Song Dynasty, Dali Temple, the Criminal Department and the Yushitai together formed the "Six Gates";In the Yuan Dynasty, the Dazong Zhengfu, the Criminal Department, and the Xuanzheng Yuan constituted the "Six Gates";In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the "six doors" referred to the Criminal Department, Dali Temple and the Imperial Procuratorate.
The existence of these three legal divisions and yamen, all of which were responsible for judicial and administrative matters, enabled the imperial court to control the judicial and administrative powers of the country more effectively.
Legend has it that the Six Gates are a well-organized and capable secret training base, and its members are carefully selected masters.
However, in reality, "Six Doors" is not so mysterious and legendary. It is actually the collective name of the Yamen of the Three Laws Division in history, which was established by the ancient Chinese government in order to maintain social security and judicial fairness. This institution has played a very important role in history and has had a profound impact on the development of Chinese history and culture.
