95 process introduction of alumina ceramics

Mondo Culture Updated on 2024-01-28

Alumina ceramics is one of the most widely used ceramic materials, which can be used as corrosion-resistant materials in machine and equipment manufacturing, corrosion-resistant materials in chemical industry, insulating materials in electrical and electronic technology, high-temperature resistant materials in thermal technology, and some special materials in aviation, defense and other fields.

The molding methods of 95% alumina ceramics include dry pressing method, hot die casting method, pouring method, extrusion method, etc. In recent years, molding technologies and methods such as filter press molding, direct solidification injection molding, gel injection molding, centrifugal grouting molding and solid free molding have been developed at home and abroad. Different product shapes, sizes, complex shapes and precision products require different molding methods. Next, we will mainly introduce the hot die casting molding method.

First, ball milling: 95% of the alumina raw materials and industrial paraffin wax bought back are ground in the ball mill in a certain proportion, and the number of grinding particles is determined by different products.

2. Heating and stirring: pour the ground raw materials into the mixer for heating and stirring, the heating range is about 80-90 degrees, the paraffin wax slowly melts, and the powder gradually becomes a flowing liquid.

3. Hot die-casting molding: the slurry is poured into the die-casting machine, and the slurry is squeezed into the mold by pneumatic principle to realize the ceramic blank molding.

Fourth, the embryo wax discharge: in a certain temperature range, the process paraffin in the embryo is discharged, and the heating of the wax kiln mainly includes coal kiln, gas kiln, and electric kiln.

Fifth, high-temperature sintering: the embryos after the waxing are loaded into the bowl in an orderly manner and fired in the high-temperature kiln.

Sixth, the grinding of the embryo: the sintered product, with good hardness and strength, because the embryo from the mold has a lot of edges and corners, so the last process needs to be grinding to meet the requirements.

Alumina ceramics have high hardness, brittleness of the material, and it is easy to chipping and chipping during processing. Generally, the processed ceramic parts are processed by a special ceramic engraving machine, which can effectively reduce the cost and achieve high-precision machining. Xin Tenghui CNC has developed a ceramic engraving and milling machine for ceramic processing, with good protection performance and high processing accuracy. The ceramic engraving and milling machine strengthens the rigidity of the machine tool, and the vibration generated during processing can be reduced to a minimum, ensuring the accuracy while also improving the processing efficiency, and the protective performance is strengthened for the ceramic powder, which can completely eliminate the damage of the powder to the machine tool. Xin Tenghui CNC can also provide ceramic processing technology, with a skilled CNC machining, grinding team, precision parts research and development custom processing, etc.
