The production process refers to the operational process by which the production system achieves its functional objectives. In other words, the production process is the whole process of putting various production factors into the production system, going through a series of processing, until the finished product is produced.
In the production process, it is mainly the process in which the laborer uses the labor tools to act on the labor object, so that it can change the shape, structure, composition or position of the product according to the predetermined purpose, and finally become an industrial product. Under certain production conditions, the production process also requires special processing of the product with the help of natural forces. Therefore, the production process is actually the whole process of organic combination of labor process and natural process.
The production of an enterprise is generally composed of many parts, which can be divided into the following five parts according to the different roles they play in the production process:
1.Production technology preparation process
Refers to all production technology preparations made before the product is put into production. Such as product design, process design, process equipment design and manufacturing, material and working hour quota formulation, labor organization and equipment layout coordination.
2.Basic production process
It refers to the process in which an enterprise directly processes the labor objects that constitute the product entity according to the production purpose and market demand. Such as mining, beneficiation of mines;processing and assembly in automobile plants, etc.
3.Assist in the production process
It refers to various auxiliary production activities to ensure the normal operation of the basic production process of the enterprise. Such as providing power, tools, maintenance, etc. for basic production.
4.Production service process
It refers to the various services provided to ensure the smooth progress of production activities, such as the production of raw materials and semi-finished products, the storage and storage of various production tools, and the transportation inside and outside the factory.
5.Ancillary production process
It refers to the process by which an enterprise uses its surplus production capacity and resources to produce other by-products. For example, concentrators use tailings to make bricks. The production processes are interconnected, interdependent and mutually restrictive, constituting the entire production process, with the basic production process as the main content, and the other processes work around the basic production process.
The basic and auxiliary production processes are composed of a number of interrelated processes and non-processes. The process stage refers to the local production process divided according to different means of production and processing properties. For example, the basic production process of a machinery enterprise can be divided into three process stages: blank manufacturing, metal cutting and assembly; The basic production process of textile enterprises can be divided into three process stages: spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing.
The process stage consists of several processes. Process refers to the production process in which a worker or a group of workers processes the same labor object in the same workplace. It is the smallest unit that constitutes the production process and is the basis of the enterprise's production technology, production management and organizational work.
Non-process refers to a series of unproductive work closely related to the production process in order to achieve the objectives of the production process.
