Especially in terms of operating systems, the dependence on foreign-developed systems will have a serious impact on the country's development if it is "cut off". In order to meet this challenge, the HarmonyOS system should be born from time to time. After just a few years of development, the HarmonyOS system has become the world's third largest mobile phone operating system, and is expected to expand its application scope in the future and become the world's second largest computer operating system. As a purely domestic operating system, the HarmonyOS system has attracted much attention from the state, not only establishing the OpenHarmony open source project, but also calling on "national team" enterprises from all walks of life to access the HarmonyOS system to jointly build a complete Internet ecosystem based on the HarmonyOS system.
In order to promote the development of the HarmonyOS system, universities have played a vital role. Recently, HarmonyOS has united 17 well-known universities in China to establish the "Open Source HarmonyOS Technology Club".
