Zhuzhou News Network, December 18 (Correspondent Wang Changwen) Since late October, the Yanling County Disabled Persons' Federation, together with the Yanling County People's Hospital and the Yanling County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has formed a door-to-door disability assessment team to carry out door-to-door disability assessment for people with limited mobility, suspected severe disabilities and willingness to apply for disability certificates in 10 townships and towns in the county, so as to improve the service level of the disabled, so that the masses can carry out disability identification at the "doorstep" and help rural revitalization.
This activity takes the form of "centralized + door-to-door", and conducts centralized disability assessment and appraisal in townships, health centers or village committees for those who are more convenient to move and those with disabilities whose certificates have expired and frozen, and have not renewed their third-generation certificates. During the disability assessment, the staff carefully filled in the application form for the disability assessment subjects, patiently and meticulously answered the disability policies, guided and encouraged them to overcome difficulties and establish confidence in life. The disability evaluation doctor has in-depth communication with the parties and their families, understands the physical and mental conditions of the patients in detail, asks about the medical history, carefully reviews the medical records and hospitalization records, makes a disability assessment according to the evaluation standards in combination with the actual situation, and gives the best suggestions and guidance.
This time, a total of 296 disabled people were assessed for disability, including 153 people with disabilities and 143 people with disabilities at home, including more than 120 new people, which further met the actual needs of special difficult groups, provided high-quality services for the disabled in Yanling County, and effectively opened up the "last mile" for the disabled to enjoy the preferential policies for the disabled, so that the eligible disabled people can enjoy relevant policies and assistance in a timely manner, which has been well received by the masses.
