In 1953, under the background of the construction of the national "First Five-Year Plan", the company's predecessor, the Fourth Company of the Southwest Construction Management Bureau of the Ministry of Construction and Engineering, was established in Chongqing, and then successively built a series of important projects in Chongqing, such as eight arsenals, the first thermal power plant in southwest China - 507 power plant, and the "architectural structure monument" of the world cinema - Shancheng wide-screen cinema, and accumulated profound construction technology and experience in the military, industrial, civil and other construction fields.

During the construction of the Wujiagang Yangtze River Bridge in Yichang, the company and the China Institute of Advanced Building Technology jointly created the world's first "overall adaptive intelligent jacking tower platform" (referred to as the "tower building machine"), and its working principle is also inspired by the "aerial building machine" to achieve efficient and collaborative construction of multiple operating layers, increase work efficiency by more than 30%, and walk on the ground at an altitude of 100 meters. "Aerial Building Machine", "Residential Building Machine" and "Tower Machine" also appeared in the 2022 and 2023 China International Smart Expo one after another, among which, the "Residential Building Machine" was selected as the "Typical Case of Intelligent Construction New Technology and New Product Innovation Service" issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
