At 7 o'clock in the evening of December 29th, a poem by the famous poet Li Shangyin of the Tang Dynasty sounded on the southwest city wall of Chengnan Road, Guancheng District, in the dreamlike light, the shape of a 7-meter-high sunset tower reappeared in the city tower, and the reciter of Li Shangyin's appearance recited the ancient poem "Sunset Tower" of the famous poet of the Tang Dynasty passionately under the sunset.

This is Su Zhe sent his brother Su Shi to the post, sent a ride after a journey, and was sent to the west gate of Zhengzhou one hundred and forty miles away from the capital, Su Shi wrote this poem "Xin Chou November 19 is separated from the West Gate of Zhengzhou and immediately sent a poem" to express the sorrow and hatred.
The sunset building was built in the seventh year of Yamato (833 AD) when Xiao Di was serving as the assassin in Zhengzhou. Li Shangyin had taken refuge in him in the past, because of his outstanding talent, he was deeply appreciated by Xiao Di, and it can be said that there was a friendship of acquaintance, Li Shangyin had been alone in the sunset tower here, reminiscing about the past, but there was a lonely and scattered, and the future was uncertain, so he wrote the ancient poem "Sunset Tower".
At the scene of the sunset building that night, the modern dazzling light show and the gorgeous sunset tower scene on the wall of the ancient city wall echo each other, the air is filled with elegant and euphemistic guqin**, the citizens have stopped to listen, take pictures, a citizen who came sighed: I didn't expect the history of Zhengzhou to be so rich, these two poems were originally written here!
In the night of the New Year's Eve cultural activities, in addition to reproducing the scene of the ancients of the Sunset Tower ascending to the city to perform the quatrain of the ages, on the southwest side of the city wall, it also reflects through the projection "I am at the corner of Guancheng Street, meet the story of Shangdu", "The towering Bodu is splendid in the stars and Han, and the model of the thousand-year-old root vein king" "Traveling through the three thousand years of Xia Shang and feeling the ancient capital Zheng Xinsheng" and other three-dimensional words, on the west side of Nan Shun Cheng Street, the road is brightly lit, and the treetops are hung with various New Year's greeting lanterns, and the atmosphere of welcoming the 2024 New Year fills the entire street, and the time memory museum on Nan Shun Cheng Street has also attracted many citizens to visit, and the citizens on the street have taken out their mobile phones to check in and stop here, feeling the charm of the blending of modern and Shang Dynasty ancient capital culture.
It is reported that the activities of the Sunset Building Area (the ancient city wall at the intersection of Chengnan Road and Nanshuncheng Street) will continue to be performed from 19:00 to 20:00 every night from December 29, 2023 to January 4, 2024.
