In the vast ocean of Chinese poetry, there is such a poem, which uses the most simple language to express the most sincere emotions.
This is the Eastern Jin Dynasty poet Tao Yuanming's "Returning to the Garden and Living in the One", which describes a picture of pastoral life.
In the poem, "the ambiguous distant village, the smoke in the ruins" makes people seem to see the distant village and the smoke-strewn ruins. In the afterglow of the setting sun, the ruins appear quiet and moving. Every brick and stone, every leaf, was gilded with a golden glow.
In the poem, "the dog barks in the deep alley, the rooster cries in the mulberry tree", which makes people feel the liveliness and tranquility of rural life. In this deep alley, the barking of dogs came and went, and on the top of the mulberry tree, the crowing of roosters resounded in the sky.
All of this makes people feel the breath of life and the strong local complex. And all of this was depicted by Tao Yuanming in his simple language.
Living in modern society, we sometimes yearn to return to such a simple and quiet life. Let's feel the most sincere emotions and the purest life from the poems.
