Polish-American, born in Philadelphia in October 1949. Before retirement, he has been engaged in social work in protective services, providing counseling, ** and other services to children with disabilities and the elderly.
For 27 consecutive years, Stephen Maciejewski has participated in the competition section of the world's oldest and largest indoor flower show: the Philadelphia Flower Show, and has won numerous awards, large and small, including the "Lifetime Achievement Award";Under his active advocacy, the China Endive Conservation Center was established, and 6 sub-centers have been established, including the Guangdong specialty of Primulina maciejewskiiThrough the association, he actively supports young students from all over the world to participate in the field exploration of begonias and endives, and provides them with help in terms of writing and funding.
