3 InstructionsThe TLV702 series of low dropout (LDO) linear regulators are low quiescent current devices with excellent line and load transient performance. These LDOs are designed to save board space in power-sensitive applications. The high-precision bandgap and error amplifier provide a total accuracy of 2%. Low output noise, very high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), and low dropout voltage make this device ideal for a wide range of battery-powered handheld devices. All device versions have thermal shutdown and current limits for safety. In addition, these devices have an effective output capacitance of only 0Stable at 1 f. This feature allows the use of cost-effective capacitors with higher bias voltage and temperature derating. These devices can be adjusted to a specific accuracy without generating an output load. The TLV702P series also provides an active pull-down circuit for rapid discharge of the output. The TLV702 series LDO linear regulators feature SOT23-5 and 15mm × 1.5mm WSON-6 package.
