This is where the story begins, and it's an adventure that I've experienced myself. When I stepped into Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, I felt like I had entered a mysterious world. Located 360 miles southwest of Manila, Philippines, this protected area is world-renowned for its native forests, diverse wildlife, fantastic white sand beaches, and world-famous cave system.

In 1971, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park was officially established with the main purpose of protecting and preserving the integrity of the primary forest. When I first set foot on this land, I was really blown away by its beauty. The lush trees, clear streams, and bird-scented surroundings make me feel like I'm in a wonderland. The flora and fauna are also very rich, and I experienced the amazing moment of getting up close and personal with wild animals. In this reserve, you can see unique birds, rare mammals, and a variety of exotic insects, and feel the magic of nature to the fullest.

The most memorable is of course the famous underground river cave system. Walking into the cave, I felt like I had entered the inner world of the earth. Walking through the winding passages of the cave, I saw breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites. They are nature's enduring works of art that make people marvel at their shape, size, and texture. In particular, the famous "Virgin Mary" rock is really impressive, as if it is showing the world the magic of nature.

Flowing down the river, I saw the unpredictable effects of light and shadow as it glided through the cave. These lights and shadows give the whole cave a mysterious and secluded atmosphere, like a beautiful painting unfolding in front of you. In this whimsical environment, I couldn't help but feel the magic of nature and the infinite charm of its beauty. In addition to the magnificence and mystery of nature, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park also carries a rich history and culture. It is said that there are long traces of human activity in this land, and even the remains of some primitive tribes have been found. Here, you can feel the call of a bygone era and imagine how the ancients lived in harmony with nature. This sense of pervasiveness of history and culture made me feel awe-inspiring and made me rethink my relationship with nature.
