The Forbidden City, formerly known as the Forbidden City, is the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the largest and most complete ancient building complex in China, covering an area of 720,000 square meters, with 9,999 and a half rooms and a construction area of 1550,000 square meters. It is a rectangular castle with four corners and beautiful corner towers, surrounded by a moat with a width of 52 meters, forming a fortified castle.
The Forbidden City can be divided into two parts, the south is the working area, that is, the outer court, and the north is the living area, that is, the inner court. All the buildings of the outer court and the inner court are arranged on the central axis, which is symmetrical and orderly from east to west.

2.The Middle Temple:A place where the emperor rested and received worship before attending a major ceremony.
3.Bohol Temple:It is used for occasions when the emperor entertains princes and ministers, and gives banquets to foreign envoys.
4.Qianqing Palace:The emperor's dormitory has now been converted into an exhibition of the Palace Museum's collection.
5.Kunning Palace:The Empress's dormitory has now been transformed into an exhibition of the Palace Museum's collection.
6.East and West Palace:They are the study room, piano room, gallery of the emperor and empress, etc.
7.Imperial Garden:The emperor's private garden contains precious ancient trees, rockeries, pavilions, etc.
8.Forbidden City Walls:The total length is 3,400 meters, the height is 10 meters, and the city wall is expected to be a tower, an arrow tower, a corner tower, etc.
9.Moat:A 52-meter-wide moat surrounds the Forbidden City, adding an additional line of defense.
10.Shenwumen:The North Palace Gate of the Forbidden City, originally the Xuanwu Gate, is one of the four sacred beasts in ancient times, and is dominated by the north.
11.Shun Zhen Gate:Located in the Forbidden City, it is a glazed door with the wall, and the door is Beiheng Street, and the opposite of Shenwu Gate is across the street.
In addition, there are many other buildings and attractions in the Forbidden City, such as Wenyuan Pavilion, Cining Palace, Taiye Pool, Wanshou Mountain House, etc. The entire Forbidden City is a sprawling ancient architectural complex that showcases the magnificence and splendor of ancient Chinese imperial palaces.
