Zhang Nan, a "gold medal pension consultant" in Xuhui District and an elderly social worker in Lingyun New Village, said that these elderly people were specially invited by them as "audiences", and most of them were elderly people living alone and those in difficulty.
The party opened with the performance "Happy New Year" by the Lingyun New Village Dance Team, and the actors wore bright costumes and danced gracefully, and the audience applauded. And Aunt Leng, a Shanghai opera expert, sang excerpts from Shanghai Opera "Dunhuang Daughter" for everyone. The most special program is the English version of "My Motherland and Me" brought by resident Aunt Hu to everyone, which made the audience refreshed. After singing a song, the audience felt that it was not enjoyable, so the host called on Aunt Hu to lead everyone to sing the Chinese version of this popular song in unison, and the atmosphere of the scene reached a climax.
