On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new, the Seventh Department of Orthopedics of our hospital received a special pennant. It came from a patient who had been discharged from the hospital for more than 1 year, Ms. Guo, "Not only are you highly skilled, but I have always felt your dedication to patients during the process of being discharged for more than a year, and I am really grateful." On the banner, the 14 golden characters of "noble medical ethics warm people's hearts, exquisite medical skills spread to the Quartet" are shining, expressing the hearts of patients.
On June 23, 2022, Ms. Guo was involved in a traffic accident on her way to work and was caught under a large truck. At that time, she was bleeding all over her body and couldn't move, "I thought I was dying, crying and beating ** to let my mother come to see her one last time." Ms. Guo recalled. The medical staff quickly bandaged her to stop the bleeding, informed her of the effect of the same case**, and constantly encouraged and comforted Ms. Guo's frightened emotions.
Subsequently, the medical staff used the patented pelvic fixation traction belt developed by the upper department, which fixed the pelvis with the inner layer to relieve pain and avoid secondary injury, and the lateral traction belt allowed the patient to adjust and raise the hips and upper body by himself through the pull ring, which improved comfort.
On June 26, 2022, after completing the relevant examinations and preoperative preparations, Wu Zhengjie, the director of the department, and his team gave Ms. Guo robot-assisted pelvic fracture surgery under general anesthesia. "Because it is a female patient, it can be minimally invasive, so there is no need to produce so much blood, and second, there is no need to make a big incision. "Solving problems from the patient's point of view, Wu Zhengjie and his team were careful at that time. "I finished the operation in the ** case, and I was very happy with tears streaming down my eyes at that time. Ms. Guo, who had just returned to the ward after the operation, couldn't help but sigh.
Subsequently, the medical and health team of the department developed a personalized ** plan for Ms. Guo. Due to the smooth healing of the incision, Ms. Kwok was discharged from the hospital on 7 July 2022.
After being discharged from the hospital, the medical staff of the department always kept in touch with her, closely followed up the process, and did a good job of continuing care.
Ms. Guo was very touched by the sincere feelings of the medical staff, and she always remembered it in her heart. Last year, she had already customized the pennant and was ready to deliver it by hand, but due to various reasons such as the long distance, it has not been realized. Recently, taking advantage of the vacation before the Spring Festival, she made a special trip to the Seventh Department of Orthopedics to visit the medical staff and express her gratitude in person.
"Sometimes it's **, it's often helping, it's always comforting. It's the responsibility of the medical staff, and we're just doing what we're supposed to do. ”
Wu Zhengjie said that robot-assisted pelvic fracture surgery meets the requirements of intelligence, precision and minimally invasiveness, and greatly shortens the operation time, alleviates the pain of patients, and helps patients recover better.
In the cold winter, the pennant is like a warm current that warms every Buddhist TCM person, and also serves as a spur to encourage us to forge ahead and provide better services for patients!
