This is the first home purchased by photographer I and hostess G, with an open kitchen full of sunlight, a mini viewing living room, a quiet and tidy bedroom, a comfortable and relaxing workspace, and a "luxury sunshine house" ...... for catsEvery corner of the space is filled with sunlight, and this home has a little more "temperature" than the traditional Nordic style.
Best Case 135 Ideal Scandinavian style
Resident members: 2 people and 2 cats.
House size: 135 sq.m.
House layout: 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom.
Main materials of the project: colored latex paint, parquet, oak countertop, wooden shutters, white subway bricks, cement bricks.
In the early stages of the design, the male protagonist oscillated back and forth between Scandinavian and Japanese styles, and these two minimalist styles have always been his favorite. Comparatively, the Japanese style is more subtle and restrained, while the Scandinavian style is a little more smart and informal. It wasn't until I met the designer that under the mutual recognition of aesthetics and home concepts, this home finally moved towards the Nordic style. The small Nordic home in front of us is less "cold" and a little more "warm" than the traditional Nordic home.
The designer advocates the concept of "natural growth", which means that the occupants of the house are the determining factor in the final form of a space. The aesthetics and living habits of the occupants all have a profound impact on the space, and a good designer should provide "guidance" and technical support.
As a result, the final home can not only bear the designer's imprint, but also show the occupants' desire for space and warmth.
Inside the glass jar on the partition of the entrance is fresh eucalyptus.
The living room is connected to the balcony to increase the sense of visual extension. Considering the shooting needs of the male host I at home, the designer discarded unnecessary decorations in the planning of the living room, and it can be turned into a spacious studio with a simple tidying up when working.
Replace the TV with a projector, the electric screen is lowered to become a TV, and the curtain can be folded to restore a clean wall. The 133-inch curtain can fully meet the daily viewing needs of the couple.
The redundant walls of the kitchen were completely removed to make it fully open and connected to the living balcony. The kitchen island made of oak has an irreplaceable warmth compared to stone. The sunken storage shelves can not only play a storage role, but also very decorative, and those beautiful and delicate dining rooms have a platform for display.
The dining table is 23 meters 1 meter long table, where family and friends can gather for dinner; Two chandeliers with walnut-colored dining tables and chairs are minimalist, symmetrical and full of lines.
The whole house has obvious advantages in terms of layout, such as square house, north and south transparency, wide balcony, etc. Even so, the designers have further optimized the layout to meet the spatial needs of the occupants.
The designers made three major changes. The first is to remove the non-load-bearing wall of the kitchen and integrate the living balcony into the kitchen, presenting an open kitchen and dining room, so as to realize barrier-free communication between the chef and his family. The second place is to take into account the actual situation that only two people usually live, open up the master bedroom and the adjacent second bedroom, and transform it into a super large master bedroom and study mode. The third place is to open up the walls of the living room and the balcony and transform it into a sun room + planting area.
Walnut furnishings with dark blue backdrops and grey linens make the bedroom look understated.
Considering that there are only two people living in it, the designer incorporated the second bedroom next to the master bedroom and turned the master bedroom into a "suite". The head of the bed is not a traditional bedside lamp, but the owner was inspired by the designer and handmade it with a chandelier.
Designer soft decoration with key tips
1 Half of the balcony of the living room is transformed into a sun room + planting area, and green plants are definitely a powerful tool to enhance the appearance of Nordic home space.
2 Abandon the traditional living room entertainment facilities, replace the TV with a projector, put down the electric curtain to be a TV, and put away the curtain can be restored to a clean wall. This design is perfect for young people to study here.
3 To this day, there are still many "unfinished" areas in this home, such as the work area on the background wall of the study, the sideboard to be added, ......Soft decoration does not have to be in place in one step, it can be slowly accumulated and discovered in daily life.
The wardrobe in the 4th bedroom is built-in, which weakens the sense of volume of the whole cabinet, and can also effectively reduce visual fatigue and make the space more clean and refreshing.
Opposite the balcony planting area is the "mansion" of the two cats, and on the custom-made storage cabinets, where the cats sleep and play are planned. At the bottom is the cat's nest, and the upper partition has holes that connect up and down for them to play with.
The balcony of the original house of nearly 15 square meters has been built into a sun room + planting area by the designer. The combined flower stand can be transformed into different shapes, with a variety of Internet celebrity green plants, becoming the most heartwarming place in this home.
