One of the veterans made me feel deeply: he had served on Hainan Island, and after being discharged from the army, he suffered from leukemia and diabetes, and when I walked into the ward, I saw the veteran in a wheelchair, and one of his feet had ulcerated, and the doctor said that it was very likely that the foot could not be saved, and I couldn't help but tremble! Thoughts become heavy. I thought to myself, what would I do if I was in a wheelchair? Suddenly a "loud answer" pulled me out of my thoughts, I heard the veteran's sonorous words, I saw the veteran's eyes firm, the veteran is still like before, he used to charge on the battlefield, and now he is also fighting against the disease, I think this is a veteran spirit, is optimistic, strong, is brave and does not give up, is the best portrayal of retirement without fading.
This visit not only made me feel the spirit of the veterans who are not afraid of illness and dare to fight, but also made me realize that today's well-off life is not easy to come by. During the visit, we met a veteran who unfortunately lost his right leg, but when we came to visit he stood up to thank him, his wife was half paralyzed, and it was hard to imagine how difficult their life was. But in the conversation, the veteran always has a sincere smile on his face, the veteran is disabled, although he faces many difficulties in life, he still faces life with a smile! We should learn from the optimistic spirit of veterans, and at the same time, we should cherish the current life, be diligent and thrifty, and inherit the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation.
Our party is a party that serves the people wholeheartedly and is a party that seeks truth from facts, seeks truth and is pragmatic. He also went to visit a village party secretary, who went to the grassroots level of the people to understand the family situation of disabled veterans, and tried to help them apply for the subsistence allowance, which is a true portrayal of thousands of outstanding Communist Party members......This makes me feel that the Communist Party of China has always adhered to the original aspiration, which is to seek the well-being of the people and the rejuvenation of the nation. It is the Communist Party of China that leads the Chinese people to a well-off society and a modern and powerful country, and it is the party that allows the Chinese nation to stand tall in the east of the world with a brand-new attitude.
Veterans are dedicated to the party and have dedicated their lives to the motherland, and their patriotic spirit is also worth learning from us, because patriotism is one of the most core ideological concepts in traditional Chinese culture, and it embodies the profound feelings and noble value pursuit of the Chinese sons and daughters for the country. In that tense era, the veterans embarked on a journey without hesitation for the safety of the motherland, and now the young generation of us live a stable life, but we must also take over the baton of history, continue to work hard, struggle, and dedicate our youth to the people, the party and the motherland.
I suddenly felt that I had grown up a lot, and I also understood more about my grandfather's original intention of creating the Veterans Volunteer Service Team. Salute to the veterans!
