I took the initiative to sign up because I am from Shanghai and do not need to leave Shanghai to visit relatives; I am also a party member, and I must be at the forefront to serve the people.

To be honest, I was a little dazed at first, and I didn't know the bottom of my heart. On the one hand, as the liaison of the 28th group, I have to cooperate with the team leader to ensure the service of 25 volunteers. On the other hand, as a volunteer, I will take the initiative to understand and familiarize myself with the specific locations of Hongqiao Airport, railway station, taxis, stations, parking lots, subways and buses, and provide services and assistance to passengers. However, for me, who usually has a bad sense of direction, I am proud not to get lost. For this reason, I can only work hard before I take up my post.
On January 31, under the leadership of the Party Working Committee of the district-level organs, we went to the site in advance and received pre-job training, and I took pictures of the marching route, each service point and volunteer rest area with my mobile phone in every detail, and recorded the volunteers' work responsibilities and tasks, meeting time and place, meal and rest system, etc.
After the meeting, I carefully read the volunteer work manual, learned the experience sharing of the previous batches of volunteers in the volunteer group in time, and learned more about the temporary routes and the first and last train times opened up during the Spring Festival.
On the day of the volunteer, I arrived at the Hongqiao hub an hour early and walked the entire area as a simulated traveler, because I knew that only by truly "eating through" could I ensure that I could guide passengers to where they wanted to go and where they should go, and sit on the transportation they wanted to take and should take.
Although the weather is cold, the heart is very hot.

February 19th is the peak period for return, and it is also the day when the volunteers of the Rong ** Center take up their posts, and we know that today's task is arduous. We were notified at short notice that the working hours of the second batch of volunteers were adjusted from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. to 3 p.m. the next day. Two colleagues, Wang Tingting and Liu Zhiwu, took the initiative to join the volunteer service in the evening and went all out to stand on the last shift.
Despite the cold wind outside and the temperature falling below freezing, the volunteers at the Hongqiao hub station were still enthusiastic, united and cooperated, took the initiative to ask passengers if they needed help, and provided them with services within their capabilities, which was also well received by many passengers.
I don't know how many people returned to Shanghai today, and how many passengers were sent away, it is impossible to say that I am not tired, but I am really proud of myself, and the pride is not that I did not get lost or pointed the wrong way, but that the passengers who come and go can depart from here with peace of mind with our help, and can arrive safely, all of which is worth it.
