LAS VEGAS — This is the EvtoL flying car from Xpeng AeroHT, as the name suggests, a flying car concept car equipped with eight carbon fiber rotating blades (one of other concept cars from this CES and previous shows). All blades fold into the body, allowing you to drive along the street without cutting off anyone's head. And be clear, that will definitely happen. Because basically for almost every adult, those leaves are at neck height.
The dual-mode cockpit can only seat two people, as the rest of the body is occupied by stored blades (or cavities for blades when in use). In front of the pilot there is something that resembles a square steering wheel control stick, and there is also a joystick in the middle.
The propulsion system is electric, but the details about this are all there is to it. After all, it's just a concept. Xpeng AeroHT claims to be the largest flying car company in Asia. It also has another slightly more realistic concept car: the modular flying car. It consists of a ground module (a futuristic van with the rear end opening like a GMC Envoy XUV, revealing a miniature double *** called an air module). The ground module is characterized by 6 6 all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering (it would be interesting to see four rear-wheel steering) and, like all Xpeng "creations", is electric. The air module is capable of both manual and automatic operation, and it's no surprise that it can take off and land vertically given the blades.
Xpeng said it is "committed to producing the safest smart electric flying car for personal use." At the very least, they've created something really cool that wouldn't look out of place in a sci-fi movie.
