My New Year's reading plan
As a junior college student who has passed the self-examination for the undergraduate ashore, I can understand the reason why more and more junior college students do not plan to upgrade to a bachelor's degree, I know that everyone considers those situations from many aspects, in fact, I have also had the idea of retreating because of the difficulty of going to school, and whether it is necessary to upgrade to a college degree? Maybe I can give you an analysis and some advice for junior college students who are just as confused as I used to be
In fact, there are many reasons why more and more junior college students do not plan to upgrade to a bachelor's degree
The first is that competition for jobs is fierce. With the expansion of colleges and universities and the changes in the job market, the number of undergraduates has increased significantly, resulting in more fierce competition for undergraduate employment. In contrast, post-secondary students may find employment opportunities more easily, so they may think that post-secondary education is not necessary.
The second is employability. Some of our junior college students have already accumulated a wealth of practical work experience through internships or practical projects during their time at the university, so you may think that you have enough employability to improve your competitiveness through post-secondary education.
There is also the issue of time and economic cost, which is also the main problem. This is because it requires more time and money to be upgraded, including study time and tuition fees. For some of our junior college students who already have a stable job, they may not be willing to spend extra time and money on an undergraduate degree.
But from my personal experience, there are still some benefits to upgrading to a bachelor's degree, so I think it is necessary for everyone to continue to improve their academic qualifications. There are several reasons why I recommend that junior college students continue to upgrade to a bachelor's degree:
The first is to improve our career development space. When you submit your resume for an interview, you will find that some professions have clear requirements for a bachelor's degree, such as some civil servants, teachers and other positions. We can meet the academic requirements of these positions through post-secondary education, so as to enhance their career development space.
The second is in-depth learning and professional knowledge. Undergraduate degree programs are usually more in-depth and specialized, which can help our junior college students further improve their professional knowledge and skills, improve their competitiveness in related fields, and lay a more solid foundation for our goal of continuing to enter graduate school.
The third is to re-select a major that is suitable for the employment environment. You could have taken into account your interests and potential, as well as the needs of the current job market, when re-choosing a major. Choose a major with prospects and room for growth, so that you can find a job more easily after graduation and better adapt to the needs of the workplace.
Combined with the comprehensive analysis and consideration of all aspects, although it is not a necessary choice for junior college students, it has to be said that it still has certain benefits. Therefore, when deciding whether to continue to upgrade to a bachelor's degree, we junior college students should comprehensively consider their own employment needs, career development planning and personal economic situation and other factors.
It takes a certain amount of effort and time to choose to continue your career, but as long as you have a clear goal, the right choice of major, and maintain a positive attitude, you will be able to successfully change your career and life trajectory. May everyone be successful!
