Recently, NEM Architectes renovated Lancôme's villa in Grasse, France, to create a new destination in the world called Domaine de la Rose in a bright pink color.
The lounge and meeting space can be used for business events and exhibitions, such as perfume-making seminars, and visitors can learn more about Lancôme's fragrances and the brand's story.
The Glaslancôme estate is known as the perfume capital of the world, and the Domaine de la Rose is surrounded by fragrant gardens for perfumery. The building is modern, functional, functional and sustainable, underlining the brand's luxury and artistry. All the buildings on the estate have been demolished and covered in striking pink, and the roofs are made of local pink glazed tiles.
The villa has two floors, connected by a single-storey hall. The upper floors of the two wings lead to the roof of the hall below, creating a terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. A path passes through the center of the villa and the entrance to the circular tunnel leading to the hall, playing with geometric shapes; The other entrance is obscured by a terrace above, supported by a pillar that resembles a pile of rocks. The interior and exterior of the villa are vibrant pinks that stand out against the lush green landscape.
Lavender and straw are added to the exterior timber frame, and a closed rigid wood fiber insulation panel improves insulation. The estate is also used for the living and sensory experience of visitors, and the designers have put a lot of effort into sight, smell and sound, so that the whole villa and garden can experience a perfume-like layering.
