Yang Zi is a peculiar female artist. She is rich in thought, very sensitive, and interested in poetry and songs. I feel comfortable and relaxed in my conversations and with her, and I am attracted by her artistic touch. She said, my works are my emotional expression and release of things, as an artist to have a beacon-like light, light to use oil! Where does this oil come from? This is what I think and practice, and years of practice have summed up three feelings and two learnings.
The first is to feel the nourishment of firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea on the soul. Our day-to-day life and environment are the source and subject matter of our creation. I was born in the yellow earth and grew up in the yellow earth, everything here is beautiful, so beautiful that it enters the heart, the love, and the entry.
Hukou Waterfall is one of my favorite creations. What makes it different from other works is that I have completely lost the traditional oil painting techniques, a series of tedious things such as forming, coloring, and contrasting. The second is to feel the intrinsic charm of Chinese painting, integrate with literature, poetry, dance, and martial arts, improve cognition, and open up the state of mind.

The taste is the feeling that remains in the picture after each creation. We often say that art comes into life; Everyone's perception of the picture is different, so the understanding is also different. When I was working on "Hukou Waterfall", I only used monochromatic repetition and superposition to make the effect more vivid. In terms of composition, I discarded the sketching method of Western structure, and instead used the scattered transmission method to vividly show it.
In Hukou Waterfall, I mainly use a spatula to complete, and it is very cool to paint with a variety of knives. The big spatula and yellow paint quickly scraped out the water of the Yellow River. At this time, I thought of the Jiuqu Yellow River, thousands of miles of sand, and the waves and winds from the end of the world. The beautiful poems are written by Liu Yuxi.
In the subsection I use a knife, in smaller places with my hands or a small brush and other tools, and I have a lot of brains to think of a lot of practical ways to shape the splash of water.
