The Lantern Festival is a traditional festival in China, in order to better promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, create a joyful, festive, civilized and peaceful, warm and harmonious festival atmosphere, and enrich the festival cultural life. On February 21, 2024, Baijia Community in Baijiacun Street held the activity of "Skillfully Wrapping Lantern Festival, Welcoming the Lantern Festival", inviting residents and friends to come to the community room to wrap Lantern Festival, guess lantern riddles, and feel the lively atmosphere of the Lantern Festival. 
The day before the event, hundreds of community workers and volunteers began to prepare for the next day's event, buying things, grinding sesame seeds, cleaning tools, ......Every step of the way is taken seriously to ensure that the next day's event is a success. 
On the day of the event, residents and friends came to the activity room early in the morning. The volunteers first introduced the origin and customs of the Lantern Festival, and then explained the process and key points of the Lantern Festival. After that, everyone is invited to participate in the Bao Lantern Festival and experience the charm of traditional customs firsthand. At the event site, everyone laughed, talked and laughed, while wrapping, while talking about the interesting things that happened at home during the Spring Festival, the scene was filled with the joy and happiness of the festival. 
Near noon, one by one the Lantern Festival was put into the pot, and after a while, the Lantern Festival rolled in the pot like a leather ball. Everyone chatted while eating, and the lively atmosphere at the event site washed away the cold weather. 
After the Lantern Festival came out, the Baijia community also sent a steaming Lantern Festival to special groups such as the disabled and the elderly to bring them the warmth of winter, and at the same time, the Baijia community also cared about their living needs and told them to contact the community at any time if necessary
Guessing lantern riddles, also known as playing lantern riddles, is a special activity of the Lantern Festival that has been circulating since ancient times. On the special day of the Lantern Festival, Baijia community set up a lantern riddle display area in the community room, with all kinds of riddles for residents in the jurisdiction to think and guess. The residents carefully thought about the answer to each riddle, and in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, they exchanged and discussed with each other, explored the answers together, and enhanced each other's communication and emotion. At the end of the event, hundreds of communities gave gifts to the top few in the lantern riddle guessing activity. With the end of the lantern riddle prize redemption session, the event came to an end, and the residents spent an unforgettable Lantern Festival in laughter. Through this well-planned Lantern Festival activity, Baijia Community not only enriched the festival and cultural life of residents, but also shortened the distance between residents, created a joyful and festive, civilized and peaceful, warm and harmonious festival atmosphere, and enhanced community cohesion and centripetal force.
