What are the testing steps of the air tightness tester?

In the manufacturing industry, air tightness and waterproof testing is an important part of ensuring the waterproof performance, air tightness and sealing performance of products. As a high-precision testing equipment, the air tightness tester can quickly and accurately detect the leakage of the product and judge whether the product meets the requirements.

So what are the testing steps of the air tightness detector? Let's take Linglong Technology's LL-18 differential pressure air tightness detector as an example to introduce to you:

1.Inflation stage: Before starting the test, you need to put the test product into the fixture matched with the air tightness tester, and then press the start button, the mold is pressed down, and the instrument starts to inflate the sealing clamp fixture. The purpose of this step is to simulate the stress that the product will be subjected to during actual use.

2.Equilibrium stage: After inflation, the air tightness detector will adjust the pressure to make the gas inside the product reach an equilibrium state. This step is to ensure that the gas pressure inside the product is stable for subsequent leak detection.

3.Detection stage: When the gas inside the product reaches equilibrium, the air tightness tester will detect whether there is a leak in the product. The air tightness tester can quickly and accurately detect small leaks, thus ensuring that the air tightness of the product meets the requirements.

4.Exhaust stage: When the test is completed, the air tightness tester will feedback the test result to the screen, and at the same time, the gas inside the product will be automatically discharged for the next inspection. This step prevents residual gases from inside the product from affecting the next test. At the same time, the mold will be reset, which is convenient for the operator to take the product.

In short, the detection steps of the air tightness tester mainly include four parts: inflation, balance, detection and exhaust. These steps are connected to each other to complete the airtightness and waterproofing test of the product.
