The RT7202KTGQW is a simple, flexible and versatile USB PD controller that can be programmed to power or sink.
As a power supply, it can appear in the offline switching power supply, using its own shunt regulator, constant voltage and constant current control loop and programmable reference voltage source to meet the specifications of the programmable power supply. Combined with a Buck or Buck-Boost controller, it can be used to form a DC-DC converter for applications such as automotive chargers, while still meeting the specifications of programmable power supplies.
