The biggest mystery on Feng Yunshan Yao Feng Hong Xiuquan is the leader of the God Worship Sect

One of the major inducements for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement to turn from prosperity to decline was the "duality" of Hong and Yang, which triggered the Tianjing Incident. This deformed pattern evolved from the power structure of "master and military division": Feng and Xiao were killed in the four military divisions, and Wei was unable to contain Yang's monopoly of power. It can be said that before the outbreak of the Great Civil Strife, the top leaders of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom had not been able to concentrate the supreme power in the hands of one person. And this fatal hidden danger had been buried as early as the beginning of the Worship of God Sect, that is, Feng Yunshan gave up the foundation he had created to Hong Xiuquan.

In 1844, Hong Xiuquan, Feng Yunshan and several members of his family went to Guangxi to preach, but the two parted ways due to their different missionary philosophies. Feng Yunshan entered the Bauhinia Mountains alone to collect dung to make a living and preach, and in the spring of the following year, because of his knowledge, he was helped by Zeng Huaiying and Zeng Yuzhen, and the number of believers increased to 2,000 in a few years, and it was called the worship of God. In the autumn of 1847, Hong Xiuquan, who returned to Bauhinia Mountain, found that Feng Yunshan had not only been successful in preaching, but had always respected himself as the leader of the church for three years. In a word, Feng Yunshan's lifelong ambition is to be an auxiliary minister of Xiao He and Zhuge Liang, and everything he has learned and done is for this.

Feng Yunshan (1815-1852), a native of Huaxian County, Guangdong, was the southern king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. He was resolute and courageous, and he was the actual founder of the Worship of God and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Feng Yunshan's family lives in Hedi Village, Huaxian County, and Hong Xiuquan of Guanlubu Village is both a fellow villager and a relative. Both of them have tried and failed, but compared to Hong Xiuquan's blows and strange diseases, Feng Yunshan, who didn't care much about scientific research, was still free and easy. In 1843, after hearing about Hong's "** strange dream", Feng Yunshan realized that his intensive "miscellaneous science" could finally come in handy, not so much that he was helping Hong Xiuquan spread the gospel, but that he was realizing his long-cherished wish in life.

In 1847, Feng Yunshan, who was in the Guiping County Prison, redressed his grievances to Yousi, and at the same time made great efforts to create a celestial calendar that belonged to the worship of God. Two years later, the congregants of the counties that gathered in Jintian did not obey each other's orders, and he arranged the troops in an orderly manner with reference to Zhou Li and Sima Fa. In 1850, after Hong Xiuquan proclaimed himself the king of heaven in Wuxuan Dongxiang, the Taiping Army successively implemented the military division responsibility system and the five army chief general system, and Feng Yunshan was one of the four powerful figures. In the following year, Yong'an established that he was awarded the title of King of the South for 7,000 years, and agreed with Lu Xianba, Zeng Zhaoyang, He Zhenchuan and others on the ceremonial official system, military regulations and document orders.

It can be said that a series of system construction in the early stage of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom were inseparable from Feng Yunshan. So if he left Hong Xiuquan aside and established himself as the sect leader in the Bauhinia Mountain Area, would it be feasible? Personally, I don't think it's feasible for two reasons:The mystery of religion cannot be maintained, Feng Yunshan can put down the shelf and get homely, which is conducive to preaching, but it is difficult for people to be in awe, his original intention is also to let the Hong family be a "hypocritical monarch", hiding his whereabouts everywhere, and even the Qing court is not sure whether Hong Xiuquan really has a person; The position of the sect leader and the auxiliary ministers is different, the former ponders people and the latter ponders things, the charcoal burner leaders Yang Xiuqing and Xiao Chaogui take the position by means of the "degrading servants" technique, Feng Yunshan does not mind his status in the sect falling to the fourth, and he is disdainful or not good at power struggle, he can't sit in the position of the sect leader.

Let's take a look at the example in reality: Some time ago, the conflict between Dong and Sun, a well-known brand with goods, caused a lot of uproar, and Luo asked Dong to set up his own door, and Dong finally chose to stay. I think it's very correct, because no matter how strong an anchor's ability is, it must rely on an excellent platform to amplify, and if he really sits in the position of the boss, the ability and network resources needed are completely different from before. Although entrepreneurship is encouraged, not everyone is suitable for being a boss, just like Mingyue said back then, if everyone struggles according to their own goals, there will be no reaction force to each other, which is the best solution for everyone.

Looking back on the trajectory of history, Feng Yunshan's accidental death is closely related to his personal positioning of separating from the auxiliary ministers. At the beginning of 1852, the Taiping Army, which had been besieging Guilin for a long time, broke through to the north, and Feng Yunshan and Luo Xuan led the troops to serve as the pioneers of entering Hunan from Gui. Xiao Chaogui's department is often the vanguard, and three of the five tiger generals (Lin Fengxiang, Li Kaifang, Luo Outline, Huang Wenjin, and Hu Yihuang) in the early stage of the Taiping Army are from the account of the Western King, and Luo Outline is among them. It is true that Feng Yunshan is the commander of the rear army, but there is no record of him leading the army to fight before this. The intention of this arrangement is now unquestionable, and the result is that the king of Nan was bombarded under the city of Jeonju and died of his wounds at Lingyidu (a said Shuitang Bay).

Feng Yunshan was not a general after all, and it was assumed that if he had stayed in Hong and Yang Zhongjun, the tragedy would not have happened. When we think of ourselves, do we see that others are also eager to try when they see others succeeding in something, and feel that "I can do it too". In fact, behind every success, there are many factors that outsiders "can't see and can't touch", and the behavior of rushing up without discernment is no different from the little monkey breaking corn in a primary school textbook. As an ordinary person, the starting point is not as good as that of a rich and expensive family, if you can't concentrate limited resources and fight hard, how can you achieve class leapfrogging. People who can achieve success are very early on to know what they are good at and what they want, and then persistently strive for it without distractions, and many people may not be enlightened at this point in their lifetime.

Li Xiucheng praised Feng Yunshan in his self-report, "His talent understands that among the first six people, the one who seeks to create the country is the king of the south, and the former ones are all the king of the south." Feng Yunshan can't be the head of a sect, because he is a standard good person, and the tricks of intrigue and double-dealing will tarnish his reputation. Li Xiucheng and Feng Yunshan are the same kind of people, and if you choose who to make friends with among the kings of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, you will personally choose them. And the historical significance of Feng and Li also happens to echo each other, the king of the south "delivers" for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and the loyal king "sends the end" for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, which is not bad!
