The 14th National Winter Games is about to kick off in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, as the first national winter sports comprehensive sports event held in China after the Beijing Winter Olympics, the "14th Winter" can be described as full of highlights, the following wonderful content can not be missed.

Aspect 1: The first time in Inner Mongolia.

Although the Winter Games have been held for the 14th time, it is the first time to come to Inner Mongolia. This is not only the first time in Inner Mongolia, but also many firsts: this is the first time that the Winter Games has set up mass events, the first time that ski mountaineering projects have been set up, and the first time that teams from provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government have formed teams to participate in the competition.

Aspect 2: A glimpse of the Winter Olympic champions.

The success of the Beijing Winter Olympics has turned the relatively niche ice and snow sports into a popular sport for the whole people, and has also made many Winter Olympic champions become household names and national idols. The "14th Winter" field is naturally indispensable to those Winter Olympic champions. Wu Dajing, Fan Kexin, Ren Ziwei and other players all appeared in the short track speed skating event, and Su Yiming and Xu Mengtao will also appear in Zhalantun. As for Gao Tingyu, he has already enjoyed the enthusiastic applause and cheers of the audience in the "14th Winter" speed skating open group competition held in January.

Aspect 3: Let's listen to the "South and North Tune".

Once upon a time, Northeast dialect was jokingly called the "official language" of the Winter Games, because winter sports have always been the strength of the three northeastern provinces. However, with the in-depth promotion of China's ice and snow sports strategy of "south, west, east, and east", more and more athletes from outside the Northeast region have stood on the ice and snow field and even stood on the podium. In the "14th Winter" arena, it is a wonderful experience to listen to those athletes from all over the world speaking the hometown dialect of "Southern Accent and Northern Tune".

Aspect 4: The distance of the field witnesses the greatness of Inner Mongolia.

Due to the comprehensive benchmarking of the Milan Winter Olympics and the development of mass events, the "14th Winter" competition was distributed in seven venues in Hulunbuir, Chifeng, Ulanqab, Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, Yanqing in Beijing and Zhangjiakou in Hebei.

All the competitions after the opening of the "14th Winter" will be held in three competition areas of Hulunbuir City and Ulanqab City in Inner Mongolia. The easternmost two competition areas are located in Hulunbuir City, and the Inner Mongolia Ice Sports Training Center in Hailar Competition Area is the main venue, where various ice events will be held, and Jinlongshan Ski Resort in Zhalantun Competition Area will host ski mountaineering, freestyle skiing and other events. The westernmost competition area is located in Liangcheng County, Ulanqab City, and cross-country skiing, biathlon and other competitions will be held during the "14th Winter".

There is a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers from Hailar to Liangcheng, and Zhalantun is the closest to Hailar, but it is also more than 300 kilometers. The vast territory of Inner Mongolia has been most vividly reflected in several competition areas of the "Fourteenth Winter".

The appearance of the Inner Mongolia Ice Sports Training Center, which will host the opening ceremony and ice events, incorporates the elements of Mongolian Hada. Among the cultural and creative products, there are not only notebooks containing the knowledge of cultural relics in Inner Mongolia, but also pens shaped by birch forests in the Daxing'an Mountains, as well as badges and ...... shaped by hot pot, horse-head qin, and reindeerBehind those characteristic cultural and creative products, there are endless stories of Northern Xinjiang.
