The wine of the ancient country of Zhongshan in history, drink a glass, and it will be beautiful!

The ancient Zhongshan Kingdom was governed in what is now Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, and several surrounding counties were its territories.

In 1974, in the excavation of the tomb of King Zhongshan in Sanji, Pingshan County, Hebei Province, two pots of ancient wine were found, one pot was greenish-brown, and it also exuded a mellow fragrance when it was unearthed.

When Su Dongpo, a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, was appointed as the governor of Dingzhou (Zhongshan had been renamed Dingzhou at that time), he brewed "pine mash" wine according to the local "pine mash" wine brewing process, and named it "Zhongshan pine mash", and therefore made a poem "Zhongshan pine mash fu" (the inscription can still be seen in the Confucian Temple of Dingzhou City). —Let Dingzhou's wine be more famous.

As for the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi's poem "Sending the Fifth Division Lu Xielu to Hunan Envoy" poem "The orange tree sandbar is dark, and the pine mash wine is fragrant", Li Shangyin's poem "Return to Pei Ming's Residence" poem "Take a bucket of pine mash wine on credit, and accompany you to drain the troubles", and Rong Yu's poem "Send Zhang Xiucai to Changsha"."Pine mash can be drunk, be careful not to stay in Xiangtan", whether the pine mash is Zhongshan pine mash or not, I am not sure.

Because, it is explained that pine mash wine is a wine made from pine fat or pine flowers. This term also appears in "The First Moment of Shooting Surprise" and "Peach Blossom Fan".

However, a clearer record of the good wine of the ancient Zhongshan Kingdom appears in the Xuanwei ** "Sou Shen Ji" (Volume 19) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. In the Dingzhou Chronicles revised during the Yongzheng period, there is a record of the Tang Dynasty Chen Xuan's "Strange Records". There are only a few differences in the two texts, and they are both stories about the good wine of Zhongshan Kingdom. Translated into the vernacular, it is:

Di Xi, a native of Zhongshan, can brew a thousand days of wine, and after drinking, he can get drunk for a thousand days. At that time, there was a man named Liu Xuanshi in the state, who was good at drinking, and went to Di Xi to beg for wine.

Dixi said: "My wine has not been fermented well, and the nature of the wine is uncertain, so I dare not give it to you." ”

Liu Xuanshi said: "Even if it is not brewed, give me a drink first, okay?" ”

When Dixi heard this, he couldn't help it, let him have a drink first. After Liu Xuanshi drank this cup, he said, "Good wine, can you give me another glass?" ”

Dishi said, "You go home first, and come back another day, and this glass of wine will make you sleep for a thousand days." ”

Liu Xuanshi had no choice but to say goodbye to Di Xi, still a little dissatisfied in his heart. After returning home, Liu Xuanshi was so drunk that he died. The family didn't know about it, and thought he was really dead, so they cried and buried him.

Three years later, Di Xi said: Liu Xuanshi's wine must have woken up, and he should go to see him. When I arrived at Shi's house and asked, Liu Xuanshi's family said: "Liu Xuanshi has been dead for three years, and the mourning period has expired." ”

Dick was astonished and said, "This wine is so good that it can make a man sleep for a thousand days, and he should be awake now." ”

Then, he and the people of the Liu family came to Liu Xuanshi's grave with tools, and when they saw that the grave was sweating, they asked them to dig up the grave.

After opening the coffin, I saw Liu Xuanshi open his eyes, open his mouth, and say loudly: "Cool!" Let me drink like this! ”

Then he asked Disch, "What are you making that I will get drunk with a glass of it, and I will not wake up until today, how high is the sun?" ”

The people standing on the edge of his grave were all amused by him like that, and that's not all, Liu Xuanshi's exhaled wine rushed into their nostrils, and they were all drunk for three months.

Okay! After a drink and three years of drunkenness, who dares to try it casually? Maybe, he may be buried as a dead man, hehe!

No matter how good it is, I don't dare to make it casually, I don't dare to sell it casually, and I don't dare to drink it casually when I buy it!

It is estimated that the old master of Dongpo made "fake wine" and drank "fakes", but in fact, it was a "thousand days of drunkenness" that had been improved and reduced in intensity. In this way, people can dare to be one.

However, there may also be a little misunderstanding of the brewing master Di Xi, he obviously told Liu Xuanshi that the wine has not been fermented yet, and the nature of the wine is still uncertain, but Liu Xuanshi is in a hurry to drink, only a thousand days of drunkenness, if the fermentation is good, it will not make him drunk for three years at once, and the person who inhales his wine will be drunk for three months, so how can this wine be sold?!

But Liu Xuanshi is a well-known person who drinks well, how can Di Xi refute his face. No, in the Ming Dynasty, the great strategist Liu Gechang also wrote an article "Xuanshi Quit Drinking" ("Yu Ion" Volume 7), which is about Liu Xuanshi's failure to quit drinking, and finally the more he drank, the more addicted he became, and finally died.

After Liu Xuanshi died, the place where he was buried was called "Xuanshi Mound", according to the state chronicles, the burial place was on Heng Mountain, and the Damao Mountain in the north of Quyang County was Heng Mountain, which was in the jurisdiction of Dingzhou at that time, and there should have been no trace now.
