I can't help but sigh at the scenery of the northern country, thousands of miles of ice, thousands of miles of snow"; Li Bai's "Yanshan snowflakes are as big as a seat, and pieces are blown down Xuanyuan Terrace"; Liu Zongyuan's "lonely boat, fishing alone in the cold river and snow"; Cen Shen "suddenly came like a night of spring breeze, thousands of trees and pear blossoms" of joy. The words left by our predecessors, every time we read them carefully, they can always make us feel a lot of emotion, and this "first snow appointment" with Yu Jianjun and Gan Juxiang in the snow makes us feel the warmth and touching of ordinary life.
At the request of Mr. Yu Jianjun, in the face of the cold wind and snow, Xie Xiaoya of the Shaanxi Provincial Red Cross Body Donation Center (Body Donation Office of the Medical Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University) and Song Feiyu of the Shaanxi Provincial Red Cross Eye Bank drove to the homes of Yu Jianjun and Gan Juxiang to handle the voluntary registration procedures for the two teachers for body (cornea) donation.
Mr. Yu Jianjun, born in 1951, is a native of Yueyang, Hunan, currently lives in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, and used to be a hairdresser; Ms. Gan Juxiang, born in 1953, is a native of Yueyang, Hunan, and currently lives in Xi'an, Shaanxi. Xie Xiaoya and Song Feiyu patiently and meticulously explained the relevant knowledge of body (cornea) donation for Mr. Yu and his wife, and after understanding the relevant knowledge and regulations, Mr. Yu Jianjun said earnestly: "I am suffering from illness and know the importance of medical progress. I am willing to donate myself as the last gift of my life to the Medical Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University, to provide them with learning resources, to make some contributions to medical research, and to encourage medical students to continue on the road of medicine; I would also like to donate my cornea to patients with corneal blindness, to bring them light and hope, so that they too can see this wonderful world. Mr. Yu's wife, Ms. Gan Juxiang, also recognized and affirmed this act of love, and the couple filled out the "Application Form for Citizen Body (Cornea) Donation" and issued them a certificate of appreciation.

The kindness of these two old men gently covered every inch of the land like this first snow, allowing new life to return to the earth.
