When I was young, I read the Three Kingdoms, and I always longed for heroes. Wen wants to become Zhuge Liang who is wise and close to demons, and Wu wants to learn Zhao Zilong, who is brave. But when he reached a certain age, he found out that the really powerful character was Sima Yi. He entered the official career at the age of 29, came into contact with military power at the age of 40, was reused at the age of 60, and held great power at the age of 70. Although it was difficult and bitter, he carried it down, survived it, and had the last laugh. The world is changing, it is a classroom, and it is also an examination room. Difficult things are tested, small things are tempered, and big things are accomplished.
01 Get through the difficultiesLao Tzu once said: "The wind does not end, and the rain does not end." "The wind didn't blow all morning, and the rain didn't rain all day. The best way to survive the darkest hour is in one word: boil. Sima Yi knows this well, and has relied on hard work and forbearance all his life to defeat his opponents and achieve life. When assisting Cao Wei, Cao Cao was quite suspicious. One day, he dreamed that there were three horses, eating in the same trough. This happens to correspond to Sima Yi's father and son, and "groove" is homophonic to "Cao", doesn't it mean that Sima's will replace Cao's? So, Cao Cao called Cao Pi and told him that Sima Yi would not be willing to be a minister. Faced with this situation, Sima Yi did not flinch, but survived the difficulties with caution. Whether it is to give Cao Cao advice or to Cao Pi, he is cautious. This attitude of being small and low gradually dispelled the suspicions of Cao's father and son. The ability to be reckless is nothing but the courage of a horseman. can endure and boil, is a big husband. "The edge of the sword comes from the sharpening, and the fragrance of the plum blossom comes from the bitter cold. "The so-called dark places, and every little crevice, are all light. The so-called trough, and every step taken is upward.
02 Do the little things wellMount Tai does not let the soil, so it can become big; The river and the sea do not choose a trickle, so it can be deep. In this life, only by doing the little things in the present can we touch the success of the future. In the sixth year of Jian'an, Sima Yi was appointed as the governor of Hanoi County, and the scholars at that time were very disdainful of such positions. Even his friends once teased him, "Is the eagle willing to eat the food of the bó jiū (small water bird)?" But he thinks, "The small is great, and the small is small." Even if he was a petty official, he was conscientious and dutiful, and repeatedly visited the district to register the population of the county for easy management. Not only that, but he also assisted the county guard, verified the finances, opened up sources and reduced expenditures, and built water conservancy. For the problems encountered by the people, he tried his best to solve them. It is precisely because of this style of not fooling around that the county guard recommended him upwards and gave him his later achievements. "Han Feizi" said: "The prime minister must start from the state department, and the fierce general must be sent from the army." "Really good people not only look to the future, but also start to the present. Because they understand that "without accumulating (kuǐ) steps, there is no way to reach a thousand miles; If you don't accumulate small streams, you can't become rivers and seas. "A person can only do great things if he does small things well.
03 Look at the big thingsI have read such a sentence: "The opportunity that everyone can see is not an opportunity, the real opportunity is covered with a thin layer of window paper, the key is whether you can see through this layer of paper, and you must have a finger that can pierce the window paper." "If you can see the big things and focus on the big things, you can achieve yourself. After Cao Cao's death, Sima Yi switched from literature to military and gradually gained military power. He had a habit of leading his troops, and whenever he went, he would personally climb the heights to draw a map of the troops, and personally inspect the selected places for cultivation. Then the wilderness was reclaimed and the garrison was promoted (jūn tún, which was cultivated on the spot). His son Sima Shi was very puzzled, thinking that the war was not over, and he should not waste time on such trivial things as farming. Sima Yi said: "In the past, when the Jizi (jī) talked about governing the country, they put the people's food first. Lead the troops, and put the soldiers' rations first. This matter is a matter of success or failure in the war, and should not be underestimated (qù). It is precisely because of the "big event" of farming that Sima Yi can afford to spend energy and win the final victory. Really powerful people can distinguish between the most important and the most important, and can see through which is big and which is smaller. Only by seeing the big things can you have the last laugh. Reading paves the way for the future
