was assassinated, the guards were all killed, and the three major gangs were angrily beheaded.
Lao Jiang was placed under house arrest by Huaqingchi, and the Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated to resist Japan in 1937, the great man Lao Jiang negotiated the details of the anti-Japanese resistance in Xi'an, and decided to risk his life to meet Lao Chiang.
**The front foot departs from the earthen cave in Yan'an, and the back foot encounters the assassin in Laoshan Mountain. After the fierce shootout, more than a dozen guards were all killed, and hundreds of bandits stabbed more than 30 times.
Revealing the secret of the Laoshan assassination: Who is the hidden conspiracy and the real culprit behind the thrilling assassination? Japanese spies? Old Jiang? Or are there opposition collaborators within the party? Let's learn the truth of the ** incident and understand the brutal inside story behind this case that shocked the whole country.

**The Xi'an incident is worthy of our in-depth understanding.
On the evening of September 18, 1931, the Japanese army, which had been deliberately planning for a long time, framed the bombing of the track to the squadron, and used this as an excuse to bombard Shenyang Beidaying, provoking the September 18 Incident that shocked China and foreign countries, which marked the beginning of Japanese imperialism's invasion of China.
By February 1932, the entire Northeast fell, and the ** general Zhang Xueliang was infamous for not resisting. But in reality, this is not the case. Zhang Xueliang said that he was very wronged.
After the fall of Shenyang, Zhang Xueliang hoped that Lao Chiang would order him to lead his troops to fight the Japanese army. However, Chiang Kai-shek was blind at that time, and he was still vigorously promoting the policy of "first reassuring the inside before attacking the outside", and regarded the suppression of the Communist Party as the primary task.
He pinned his hopes on the great powers that had invaded China, such as the Eight-Nation Alliance, that they would force Japan to return to Northeast China. However, this is undoubtedly wishful thinking, and it is simply ridiculous to forget the history of the invasion of China by the Eight-Nation Alliance.
Lao Jiang has always had a secret plan, although Zhang Xueliang's Northeast Army has nominally belonged to the people, but in fact it is independent of ** and enjoys a certain degree of autonomy.
During the Great War in the Central Plains, other warlords rebelled against Chiang's alliance, but Lao Chiang did not involve the Northeast Army. This is because Lao Jiang and Zhang Xueliang have a deep personal relationship, and there are historical records that Lao Jiang did not know three things in his life: how many official names there were, how many warrants were written, and how many sworn brothers there were.
For Lao Jiang, sworn brothers are more used to win over and exploit, but in times of crisis, they are often the first to leave him. In 1928, Jiang Zhang swore goodbye, and Zhang Xueliang called Lao Jiang "righteous brother", but he did not know that this righteous brother actually did not trust him.
Despite this, in order to protect the face of this righteous brother, Zhang Xueliang personally led the Northeast Army to change banners when he rebelled in various places, helping Chiang nominally unify China. In the Central Plains War, he waved his troops into the pass, occupied Pingjin, and smashed the backs of Feng Yuxiang and Yan Xishan, which played a key role in the complete victory of the first country.
Although the level of heavy industry and military industry in the northeast region is leading, with powerful troops and equipment, the number of regular soldiers has reached 1670,000, plus the local armed forces can reach 200,000, it has the strength to revolt against Lao Chiang.
However, Zhang Xueliang always followed Lao Jiang closely and obeyed his words. However, those in higher positions are often suspicious and find it difficult to tolerate existence that is stronger than themselves. At a time when the country was in crisis, Lao Jiang was bent on changing the Northeast region to his own control.
The northeast defense line continued to lose, which made Zhang Xue's conscience like a knife. He sent another telegram to his brother-in-law, requesting that he lead the Northeast Army to resist Japanese aggression. This time, Chiang Kai-shek finally agreed to his request.
But is it really that simple? Not. In the letter, Chiang Kai-shek promised to send troops north to support, but the generals who supported him were pro-Japanese elements He Yingqin and Song Ziwen.
Their purpose is to make Zhang Xueliang ** give up control of the Northeast. In March 1933, Japan occupied Rehe, and the entire northeast line was defeated. Zhang Xueliang was therefore accused of "non-resistance" and was forced to resign under pressure from all walks of life.
However, is the Northeast Army really so easy to replace?
Lao Chiang entrusted the Northeast Army to quell the Fujian Incident against Chiang's resistance to Japan, but his hometown and boss were seized, and he had to go to the south to fight his compatriots. The Northeast Army was unwilling to obey his command, and Lao Jiang had no choice but to invite Zhang Xueliang back again to preside over the overall situation.
However, when Zhang Xueliang was called a "general of non-resistance" by students at Wuhan University, he began to question whether Chiang could lead China to true independence and strength, and whether the policy of shutting down the outside world and securing the interior was correct in the current turmoil.
In 1934, in order to preserve the flame of revolution and get rid of the encirclement, the Red Army began a 25,000-mile long march. At the same time, in the face of the approaching layers of the Japanese army, Lao Chiang repeatedly retreated, and only wanted to suppress the Communists.
He also appointed Zhang Xueliang as commander-in-chief of the Northwest Crackdown on Bandits to confront the Communists. This news caused a lot of complaints among the Northeast Army, who left their homeland and fought continuously, but had to deal with their compatriots, while the real enemy, Japan, was gradually encroaching on their homeland, their families.
When Zhang Xueliang faced various demands, he was full of contradictions in his heart, and the anti-Japanese and the suppression of the Communist Party repeatedly wrestled in his mind. However, a handwritten letter from *** changed everything for him.
The letter bluntly pointed out that the Chinese should not fight a civil war, let alone kill their compatriots to satisfy the ambitions of foreign enemies. This letter deeply touched Zhang Xueliang and made him firm in the right direction.
Soon after, Zhang Xueliang and *** had a secret meeting in a Catholic church. The two had an in-depth conversation, and Zhang Xueliang felt that he had found a soulmate, and deeply agreed with Zhou's views, expressing his willingness to stop the civil war and jointly resist Japan.
** I also took the opportunity to express our thoughts, as long as Chiang Kai-shek agreed to unite with the Communist Party to resist Japan, our side fully agreed with his leadership and restored the previous harmonious relations. The core idea of the new copy is: This letter changed Zhang Xueliang's mind and made him firm in the direction of stopping the civil war and jointly resisting Japan.
After an in-depth conversation with ***, Zhang Xueliang fully agreed with this point of view.
Lao Chiang dispatched troops to prepare for the last major encirclement and suppression of the Red Army. During this period, Zhang Xueliang made three requests to join forces with the Communist Party to resist Japan, and submitted a letter of war to Lao Chiang many times, and his words were full of grief for the suffering of the motherland and his enthusiasm for defending the country.
However, Lao Jiang's attitude changed from the initial scolding him for being nosy, to the later time was not ripe, and then to the cold attitude of hanging high and unconcerned about himself, which completely made Zhang Xueliang disheartened.
In the end, Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng decided to launch the Xi'an Incident, but because He Yingqin also arrived in Xi'an, they decided to find another day and capture him together. The next day, Zhang Xueliang dissuaded his brother-in-law from resisting Japan for the last time, but Lao Jiang did not repent and denounced him for being bewitched.
In the end, Zhang Xueliang firmly launched the incident. On December 12, Zhang and Yang took advantage of the dinner party to put Lao Chiang under house arrest in Huaqingchi and forced him to agree to resist Japan.
Twelve days later, Chiang was forced to agree, and then Zhang Xueliang personally sent Chiang to Nanjing, where he signed a series of anti-Japanese agreements with the Communists. Zhang Xueliang himself was imprisoned by Lao Jiang for the rest of his life, if it weren't for his wife's intercession, he would have already fallen to the ground.
Zhang Xueliang's efforts have paid off. Although he was scolded for not resisting at the time, the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party to resist Japan was closely related to his changing stance. At the Xi'an talks in February 1937, despite the twists and turns in the decision-making stage, the great man saw that this was a hidden danger brought about by the Xi'an Incident.
At this critical moment, ** took the initiative to ask for help and prepared to go to the negotiations. At the West Lake in March, he used his superb negotiation skills to win Lao Chiang's trust in us.
The talks brought about a historic breakthrough in the cooperation between the KMT and the CPC.
In Nanjing in April, the first cooperative relationship became the focus of attention. He decided to go there in person and conduct in-depth negotiations with Lao Chiang. This trip left *** with a lifetime of regrets.
He almost died, and his heart palpitated, which was a past of Laoshan in distress. On April 25, 1937, ** was ready to inspect the Xi'an office from Laoshan.
However, at that time, the internal and external difficulties, Japan was eyeing the tiger, the spies were lurking, the first appearance was detached, remembering the hatred of the Xi'an Incident, under the troubled times, bandits were rampant, and crises were lurking.
Every trip has become a test of life and death.
**The Prime Minister's travel has attracted much attention, and in order to ensure his safety, our party has adopted strict safety measures. In addition to the assistance of the security department, the transportation department, the security department and other parties, ** also specially sent a reinforced team from the special service department to escort it.
At the same time, the locations near the garrisons of the Northeast Army and the Northwest Army were also selected as routes in order to provide timely rescue if necessary. The reinforced guard consisted of thirty-two men, each armed with a gun, one hundred and fifty rounds of ammunition, four grenades and a broadsword.
Before the trip, Zhang Mingyuan, the director of the transportation bureau, once again strengthened security measures, and instead of choosing military vehicles, he secretly rented three commercial trucks. The initial arrangement was for the head car to carry thirty-two reinforced guards to ensure the safety of the Prime Minister.
In addition to the premier and his deputy chief of staff of the Central Military Commission Zhang Yunyi, adjutant Chen Youcai, and Kong Shiquan, head of the General Staff Office of the Central Military Commission, and other senior generals, there were also some journalists.
The rest of the staff were in the last car. Originally, it was planned that the convoy would set off on the 24th, but due to the fact that some details of the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party needed to be confirmed, only two trucks with two squads of police officers could take the lead, which reduced the number of guards around *** to one-third of the original.
At 9 o'clock in the morning on April 25th, the great man stood under the jujube tree next to the cave and waved goodbye, watching *** and others leave, the convoy slowly moved forward, passing through the Yan'an South Gate Military Station, in order to confuse the enemy, before departure, Chen Youcai and *** changed their clothes, and let the prime minister sit in the co-pilot seat on the far right.
The mountain road is rugged, and the group sways left and right, but there is no feeling of sleepiness, because the soldiers have joined the army since childhood, experienced wars, long marches and travels, all rely on a pair of "iron foot straw shoes", and this four-wheeled task is a new experience for them, everyone is like a child who has gotten honey, full of joy, but at the same time aware of the importance and danger of this mission, always vigilant.
As the truck drove out of Yan'an safely and headed for the rugged Laoshan Mountain, the face of the guard Liu Jiuzhou became more and more solemn, and his long-term professional sensitivity made him feel that there was a lot of danger ahead.
At a pass on Laoshan North Road, the terrain is more precipitous, with high ground on both sides, and only a narrow mountain road in the middle.
Inside the car, ** is reminiscing about the past, and our party has launched a fierce battle with ** here. A "bang" of gunfire sounded, the birds in the trees flew away, and the silent valley was awakened by the continuous sound of gunfire.
Zhang Yunyi was experienced and reacted quickly, ordering everyone to start fighting back. At the same time, on the other side of the heights, a large group of well-armed bandits suddenly appeared, and their dense fire was fired at the convoy.
The experienced driver immediately increased the throttle and rushed forward, but unexpectedly, the enemy dug a ravine in the road, and the right wheel of the vehicle fell into a deep pit and almost overturned.
Bullets rained down, truck tires were deflated, and they couldn't move. However, because I sat on the right side of the car, at the lowest point of the stuck pit, I was lucky enough to escape.
He quickly got out of the car and reminded the fighters to hide behind the car for the fight. The fighters nimbly dodged the bullets, and after getting out of the car, they used the vehicle to cover it and quickly organize a counterattack. It is a pity that the enemy has a lot of firepower, ** more advanced than the regular army, and a constant supply of ammunition.
The guards only had short guns to defend themselves, and soon after the battle, more than half of the guards were **. General Chen Youcai was hit in the leg when he jumped out of the car, but he still did his best to protect ***
At this time, the troops were on a life-and-death stake. ** By observing the distribution of enemy fire, a flaw was discovered. The opposing side occupies three hills, but there is no one to handle in the southeast, and there is a dense forest that can be used as a passage to break through.
Chen Youcai also noticed the gap in the right mountain, and after discussion, the two of them decided to let Zhang Yunyi, Kong Shiquan, Liu Jiuzhou and others break through first, and he will lead the guards to break through.
In the face of the malice of the bandits, Chen Youcai resisted heroically, dressed in *** clothing, and successfully attracted the attention of the enemy. He was both wise and brave, pursued the victory, fought with the enemy, and even did not hesitate to use his body to block bullets, leaving a glimmer of life for *** and others.
Chen Youcai's heroic sacrifice made the bandits stop shooting, they searched next to his body, found his "**** business card" on him, and then brutally slashed him more than 30 times.
When the group managed to rendezvous with the nearby Red Army soldiers, they found that the communication line had been damaged by the enemy. In desperation, they activated the most secret emergency line.
* After Huang Lin, the head of the guard regiment, learned of the dangerous situation, he immediately rushed to Laoshan to rescue. At this time, the *** group lost their way on the way to Yan'an.
Luckily, they met local people to show them the way, and finally managed to reach Thirty Mile Pu. This is the checkpoint of the Yan'an Security Bureau, which belongs to its own people.
Huang Lin also happened to come here. As soon as the two parties met, ** immediately asked Huang Lin to help Chen Youcai and the guards. However, it was too late, at the Laoshan Pass, the bodies of his comrades-in-arms fell in a pool of blood, and Chen Youcai sacrificed the most heroically.
His body was covered with large and small blood holes. In the end, Huang Lin handed over a blanket that was gradually full of Chen Youcai's blood to the prime minister, and he cried bitterly and whispered sadly: "Comrade Youcai died for me!" ”
The bodies of the victims were transported to Yan'an, and a grand memorial service was held for them. And *** changed to fly to Nanjing.
Laoshan**, the guards suffered heavy losses, ** was furious, and Yan'an condemned it up and down. The great man ordered a thorough investigation and gave an account to the sacrificed soldiers. Xie Ziqun, chief of the reconnaissance section of the Northwest Security Bureau, took over the task of chasing the murderer, and with his rich experience and first-class reconnaissance ability, he became the mainstay of our army.
At the moment, he realized that the truth must be ascertained as soon as possible. The first is to give an explanation to the sacrificed soldiers, the second is to appease the emotions of the soldiers during the special period, and the third is to ensure the safety of the leaders.
He asks a couple of key questions: Who is going to kill ***? How did this person know and precisely ambush him, and was he an internal traitor? "
In the process of investigation, he first started with the masses and found the survivors of the case and local villagers to understand the situation. After many visits, he identified a key person, that is, the witness of the Laoshan incident, villager Li Laohan.
However, Li Laohan was reluctant to disclose too much information at first, fearing that it would lead to death. Instead of forcing him, investigators often went to his home to communicate with him and try to persuade him.
In the end, Li Laohan revealed the whole process. According to him, one of the people who attacked at that time was a local bandit, and that person happened to be his fellow countryman before. Although this discovery makes the case seem to have some clues, it is still a mystery why the bandits specifically attacked ***'s convoy and how they learned its driving route.
In order to unravel these mysteries, Xie Ziqun sent a scout to go deep into the bandits and obtain information. After a period of time together, the investigator managed to gain the trust of the bandits and obtain some extremely important information.
During the Xinhai Revolution, an association called the "Pao Ge Hui " emerged in Sichuan Province, which is now known as the "Koo Ge Hui Hui". One of their leaders, Li Qingwu, was a member of our party's local commando force in Jinpenwan, Yan'an, and has rich experience in counter-investigation.
However, Li Qingwu's ideological consciousness was not high, and he was attracted by money and fame, and was eventually rebelled by the Kuomintang. He killed many fighters of our army and, with the support of Lao Chiang, formed a gang of bandits of more than two hundred people.
They acted recklessly, burning, killing, looting, and committing all kinds of evil in the local area. Lao Chiang was happy to see this happen, and supported it financially and by force. In order to repay Lao Jiang for his "kindness", Li Qingwu assisted him in disgraceful secret operations many times.
Li Qingwu sent two bandits and an undercover agent to listen to the intelligence of *** going to Xi'an. The undercover agent hid and observed in the parking lot at the foot of Phoenix Mountain every day, and happened to hear that our party had sent people to Nanjing to negotiate, and noticed that there were three large trucks.
He reported this information to Li Qingwu, and the other party immediately realized that there might be important people in our army to negotiate. Li Qingwu was driven by ambition and wanted to take the opportunity to kill this important leader to invite Lao Jiang to take credit, add an official to the knighthood, and go down in history.
In order to prevent his men from escaping, he deliberately told them that they were just intercepting a few ordinary trucks, but Chen You, who was killed by mistake, made Li Qingwu's intentions undoubted. These indiscriminate killers would never have thought that there is still a love and affection in the world that sacrifices their lives and forgets their deaths.
During an investigative operation, the truth was revealed, and Xie Ziqun immediately reported to Yan'an and requested that troops be sent to exterminate the Elders' Association. The superiors immediately responded, mobilized more than 1,000 soldiers, and cooperated with the internal undercover agents to launch a large-scale encirclement and suppression operation against the members of the Elders' Association.
This action is not only to comfort the dead souls, but also to deter. In less than a month, all the bandits in the Laoshan area were exterminated, and our army's great revenge was avenged.
The local villagers applauded this, and the two bandit leaders were also arrested and brought to justice, and they received the retribution they deserved. This Laoshan **, which shocked the whole country, has finally come to an end.
However, for ***, this incident will be remembered for the rest of his life. In 1976, the prime minister died of illness in Beijing. In his underwear pocket, the staff found a long-cherished **, the front is a group photo of Zhang Yunyi and other four people, and a small eight words are written on the back: "Laoshan is in distress, only four people remain".
According to the memories of the warriors who have always been with him, **will often turn out**, and look at it day after day, with a sad expression, as if remembering a person, a person who died for him.
