The Vi12 loudspeaker features a passive three-way design with two 10" LF drivers, one 8" midrange driver with horn, and two 1.1 units mounted on a dedicated waveguide4" High Frequency Compression Driver (2.)5" voice coil).
Since the neodymium magnet low-frequency unit forms a symmetrical dipole arrangement with the coaxial structure of the intermediate frequency unit and the high-frequency unit, the adjacent frequency bands are smoothly superimposed through the cross-coupling design.
This results in an excellent 120° horizontal constant pointing diffusion angle that allows the lower limit of the frequency to be controlled down to 250 Hz
The mechanical and acoustic design allows the vi12 to be flown in vertical line arrays of up to 24 loudspeakers.
The Vi12 can be used as a stand-alone line array system or with multiple Vi8 or multiple Vi-Sub loudspeakers.
The Vi12 cabinet is made of marine wood plywood with a surface finish of crash resistant paint and polyurea cabinet protection
The front panel of the loudspeaker is protected by a rigid metal grille with an acoustic foam behind the grille.
There are two recessed handles at the bottom of the rear of the cabinet.
