During the Spring Festival holiday, when I had nothing to do, I happened to see the notice of the Guanyang County Poetry Association on my mobile phone. An inexplicable impulse surged in my heart, although I am usually not interested in couplets, but this time, I decided to challenge myself and contribute to the development of couplets in Guanyang.
There are a total of five pairs of upper links on the notice of the conscription, and I carefully pondered them one by one, trying to find the most perfect one of them. In the process, I felt the charm and challenge of couplets. Each pair of couplets contains rich cultural connotations and profound artistic conceptions, which makes me, a person who usually doesn't do much couplets, fall in love with them.
After a lot of hard work, I finally completed the creation of five pairs of lower couplets. While some places may not fit the local context perfectly, that's the beauty of the couplet. It allows us to feel the breadth and profundity of Chinese culture in the process of searching and pondering.
The experience of this couplet made me deeply appreciate the charm of Chinese culture. Although I don't usually pay much attention to couplets, this challenge made me very interested in it. It is hoped that more people can join the ranks of couplets and jointly inherit and carry forward this excellent traditional culture. At the same time, I also look forward to seeing more talented people's masterpieces emerge in the future activities of the Guanyang County Poetry Association.

Shanglian: If you want to be a Penglai immortal, climb the top of the treasure.

Horizontal batch: Fairy road dream.
The theme of this couplet is the visit of the immortals. Shanglian "want to be a Penglai immortal, Gao Dengbao cover the top" expresses a strong desire to become a Penglai immortal, and symbolizes the nobility and difficulty of the road to cultivating immortals through "Gao Dengbao cover the top". The next link "Willing to be a guest in Yaochi, Qingbu Lianxilu" expresses the idea of being willing to become a cyclamen in Yaochi, depicting the elegance and mystery of fairyland through "Qingbu Lianxilu", and at the same time skillfully integrating the local Wizard of Oz Lianxilu, a tourist Internet celebrity holy land. The horizontal criticism of "Dream of Immortal Journey" summarizes the theme of the couplet, that is, the determination and expectation of pursuing fairyland and realizing the dream of cultivating immortals. The whole couplet is neat and beautiful, which is suitable for expressing the yearning and determination to cultivate immortals or pursue dreams.
Shanglian: Longmen New Spring Gate opens.
Downlink: The first trip of the Tiger Trail is full of snow.
Horizontal batch: Spring is full of joy.
Symbolized by the Dragon Gate and the Tiger Path, this couplet depicts scenes of spring and winter, respectively. Shanglian expresses the arrival of spring, the opening of the dragon gate, and vitality; The lower link depicts the first time I walked on the Tiger Path, but found that the heavy snow fell all over the courtyard last winter, which happened to be the sun that had not snowed for many years, indicating that the next year would be a good year of snow and prosperity, forming a stark contrast. The horizontal batch of "full of spring" emphasizes the breath and vitality of spring. The whole couplet is neat, the artistic conception is far-reaching, and it is full of a sense of season and picture.

This couplet is set against the background of the Spring Festival, and the upper couplet expresses the joy of people carefully selecting new words and writing couplets to welcome the New Year when spring arrives; The lower part depicts the scene where people choose beautiful words to celebrate reunion and happiness during the Spring Festival every year. The horizontal criticism of "Spring is Full of the World" summarizes the theme of the couplet, that is, the joy and happiness of the Spring Festival are permeated in the world. The whole couplet is neat, the language is beautiful, and it is full of festive atmosphere and blessings.
Shanglian: Three trees in spring, five horses on the journey, seven stars drunk on the moon, eight charming scenes, like to see the beautiful water of Kowloon.
Downlink: Hundreds of flowers compete for beauty, thousands of sails race, thousands of lights, hundreds of millions of people rejoice, and a hundred birds sing Qingchuan.
Horizontal batch: Spring is full of good.
The couplet uses a wealth of local digital imagery and natural scenes to express the vigor and vitality of spring. From "Three Trees in Spring" to "Nine Dragons in Xiushui", Shanglian depicts the scene of recovery and vitality of all things in spring; The next link from "a hundred flowers compete for beauty" to "a hundred birds sing a clear river", it shows the scene of spring flowers and bustling. The horizontal batch "Spring is Full of Heaven" sums up the main theme of the couplet, that is, the breath of spring permeates the heavens and the earth, bringing vitality and hope to all things. The whole couplet is neat, far-reaching, full of picture sense and appeal, suitable for use in spring or festive occasions.
Shanglian: pumped storage, wind power generation, irrigating yang feng shui Tenglong Fengfeng.

Horizontal batch: energy sustainability.
The couplet is based on the theme of energy, and the upper couplet describes the use of two renewable energy sources, Guanyang pumped storage and wind power generation, and the prosperity of the feng shui treasure land in the Guanyang area, with the dragon and phoenix symbolizing auspiciousness and beauty; The lower part depicts the two major projects of the Dongfanghong Reservoir barrage and the east-west water diversion canal in Guanyang County, as well as the scenes where they illuminate thousands of households, bring light and vitality, and the finch and the lin also symbolize auspiciousness and luck. At the same time, the word "feng shui" in the lower half of the upper part of the sentence just contains the words "water" and "wind" in the upper half of the sentence, and the word "river canal" in the lower half also contains the words "canal" and "river" in the upper half. The horizontal criticism of "energy sustainability" summarizes the main theme of the couplet, that is, to advocate the sustainable use of energy and promote the harmonious development of society and nature. The whole couplet is neat, the language is vivid, creative and contemporary.
