The Splendid Land Agricultural and Sideline Products Wholesale Market is the largest agricultural wholesale market in western Beijing, with an average daily passenger flow of 12,000 people. In order to ensure the amount of fresh meat during the Spring Festival, the daily purchase volume of the Splendid Land Agricultural Market is 54 tons of pork and 12 tons of beef3 tons, lamb 75 tons,** No significant fluctuations compared to normal days.
Since most of the fresh meat transactions are in the early hours of the morning, the transaction volume of the Splendid Land Agricultural Market is relatively concentrated from 0 to 6 o'clock in the morning every day, and at about 7 o'clock, the fresh meat will enter the shopping malls, supermarkets, canteens and other terminal consumption places, and finally reach the people's table. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the night inspection operation, law enforcement officers used a meat moisture rapid detector to randomly select pigs, cattle and mutton for rapid water content detection on the spot, so as to strictly prevent non-compliant meat from entering the market. After testing, no excessive moisture was found. At the same time, cooperate with a third-party testing agency to conduct random inspections on the clenbuterol and water content items of pigs, cattle and mutton, and take samples on site and bag and seal them, and then bring them back for inspection and testing by a third-party inspection agency.
In addition, the law enforcement officers focused on the implementation of the main responsibility of food safety by the market operators and the operators in the market, inspected the main business qualifications of the operators of livestock and poultry products, and checked the implementation of the relevant systems for animal quarantine and traceability management and the implementation of cold chain measures. At the same time, the market organizers are required to establish and improve the food safety management system, work liaison and information reporting system, strictly implement the clear price system, actively fulfill the responsibility of market access management and business responsibility, and strengthen the investigation of risks and hidden dangers during the Spring Festival. The enforcement officers also reminded traders in the venue to pay attention to the storage conditions and shelf life of perishable edible agricultural products to avoid the problem of spoiled and expired food due to improper storage.
Since February, the Haidian District Market Supervision Bureau has carried out full-coverage inspections on 13 food markets in the district, inspected more than 80 operators in total, and carried out rapid testing of more than 120 batches of edible agricultural products, with a rapid inspection pass rate of 100%.
During the Spring Festival, the Haidian District Market Supervision Bureau will increase the supervision and inspection of food safety in the agricultural wholesale market under its jurisdiction, further tighten and consolidate the main responsibility of enterprises, strictly investigate illegal acts, and build a strong line of defense for the quality and safety of fresh meat during the festival, so as to ensure that the masses can eat safe and secure meat and have a happy and peaceful year.
