The organizations in Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi received bad news that Meng Qi, vice minister of the Ministry of Urban Industry, was arrested for the "Fuzhou Customs Case". Hearing this news, Zhuang Zheng, secretary of the Minjiang Working Committee, was deeply worried and suggested to the organization to rescue Meng Qi.
However, this suggestion made the organization suspicious, and it turned out that Zhuang Zheng put forward three rescue suggestions, one of which was to "fake surrender" in order to deceive the enemy and gain freedom.
This made the leaders of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Party committees begin to question why Zhuang Zheng thought of this method, and even doubt whether he had done similar things before. So, the investigation began, and it turned out that the problem was really discovered.
Zhuang Zheng, formerly known as Zhuang Qingji, was born in 1918 in Jianyang, Fujian Province in a merchant family, with good family conditions. He received a good education, and after graduating from primary school, he went on to study at the most prestigious secondary school in the area.
The accumulation of knowledge broadened his horizons, exposed him to many progressive books, and accepted the influence of revolutionary ideas. Since then, Zhuang Zheng has actively participated in the revolutionary movement, organized and participated in various progressive activities, and has become a prominent figure in the school.
In 1937, the Lugou Bridge Incident broke out, and Japan's full-scale war of aggression against China broke out. Under Zhang Mu's introduction, Zhuang Zheng joined the organization in the same year and was determined to devote himself to this struggle to save the world.
At first, he wanted to go to the front line to fight from Rong, and wrote down his application. His superiors told him: "There is more than one way to resist Japan, and the work in the rear can also save the country, and being able to mobilize one mass is equivalent to destroying ten enemies." ”
Zhuang Zheng listened, gladly accepted the organization's arrangement, and began to carry out anti-Japanese propaganda to wake up the people. Together with the students, he took to the streets, distributed leaflets, gave speeches, and actively carried out anti-Japanese propaganda work.
He devoted himself to the cause of resisting Japan and saving the country, founded publications, established a drama club, and awakened the people's patriotic feelings with words and performances. His efforts have been recognized, and he has successively served as the youth minister of the Nanping City Working Committee and the head of the Propaganda Department of the Minjiang Working Committee.
However, the Southern Anhui Incident in January 1941 made the situation grim, and our army put forward the strategy of "retreating cadres and concealing and capable", and Zhuang Zheng was transferred to Chong'an County to participate in the intensive training and study of the Wuyi Cadre School of the Provincial Party Committee.
After completing his studies, he was ordered to go to the Jiansong political base and served as a member of the Jiansong Political Special Committee and head of the organization department. In northern Fujian, he restored the party organization, formed the northern Fujian guerrilla force, led the anti-Japanese and anti-stubborn guerrilla war, and demonstrated firm revolutionary conviction and courage.
In the autumn of 1941, Fuzhou fell, and the situation became more and more severe. At this difficult moment, Zhuang Zheng resolutely served as a traffic officer of the Political Department, and came to the mouth of the Leadshan River in Jiangxi, where he shuttled between Jinhua, Shangrao and Shaowu under the cover of doing business, and began to collect military intelligence.
This kind of intelligence gathering work is not easy, and not everyone is up to the task. It requires you to go deep into the tiger's den, not to enter the danger, how can you get the treasure? Zhuang Zheng is well versed in this, not afraid of hardships and dangers, dedicated to the country, and bravely faces various challenges.
Finally, in August 1945, the Chinese ushered in the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. At this time, Zhuang Zheng was full of spirit, full of confidence, and determined to make greater contributions to the liberation of New China.
However, at this time, the opening scene of the article happened, and he was censored by the organization. On September 5, 1947, several cadres and soldiers came to Zhuang Zheng's office and declared him a "traitor".
So, what exactly did the organization find? Zhuang Zheng's wife Yang Ruiyu has to be mentioned here. In July 1941, Zhuang Zheng met 20-year-old Yang Ruiyu when he was working in the Gutian Working Committee.
And Zhuang Zheng also won Yang Ruiyu's heart with his shrewd, capable and approachable leadership style. The two went from mutual appreciation to love, and finally joined hands and became a couple.
Since then, they have lived together, fought together, and experienced the ups and downs of life together.
Yang Ruiyu and Zhuang Zheng were transferred to the Northeast Jiangxi Special Committee in early 1942, and they established a secret organ of the Special Committee in the name of starting a bristle cooperative. In addition to gathering intelligence, the special commission organs were also responsible for restoring the organization and armed guerrillas in northeastern Jiangxi.
One day in October 1943, the organs of the Special Commission were seriously damaged, and Yang Ruiyu and Zhuang Zheng, who were in the office, were both imprisoned. After learning of their identities, the enemy confined them in the liaison station directly under the headquarters of the Third Theater of Operations in Mopanshan, Wudu, Leadshan, and interrogated them day and night, in an attempt to obtain information from them and destroy all the revolutionary organizations in Fujian.
The situation is extremely critical, and the provincial party committee does not know about them. Yang Ruiyu said to her husband: "The situation is critical, you must go out and inform the provincial party committee." Zhuang Zheng asked: "The enemy finally caught us, can he easily let us go?" ”
Yang Ruiyu was close to her husband's ear and whispered something to him. Zhuang Zheng immediately told the enemy: "I have figured it out, I want to turn myself in." He also told the enemy: "When I go out, look for the provincial party committee and report their situation to you." ”
If you're gone, what then? The enemy asked. Zhuang Zheng replied: "If you still don't believe it, I can keep my wife as your mortgage." When the enemy heard this, they believed him.
Zhuang Zheng said goodbye to his wife in tears and walked out of prison. However, the enemy did not easily believe him and sent people to follow him. Zhuang Zheng quickly got rid of them, after all, he had been engaged in underground work for a long time, and getting rid of the "tail" was a piece of cake for him.
He immediately contacted the provincial party committee through the traffic officer to get them to move safely and avoid vandalism. Zhuang Zheng left, and the stalker also came back and said that he had lost it. Only then did the enemy realize that they had been deceived, and they were very angry, venting all their anger on Yang Ruiyu, and tortured her, so that she was covered in bruises and even fainted.
Despite the torture she suffered, she gritted her teeth and remained silent, leaving the enemy helpless.
Although the enemy did not kill her, they believed that Yang Ruiyu could still be used by them. However, three years later, they were forced to release her. This is because in October 1945, the Chongqing negotiations between the two sides signed the "Double Tenth Agreement", and Jiang Jun promised to release our detainees.
In this context, the organization actively rescued, and finally Yang Ruiyu was able to regain her freedom and reunite with her husband, who had been separated for three years. Despite three years of separation, their relationship has only become deeper.
Since then, Yang Ruiyu has been by her husband's side and assisted him in his work as secretary of the Minjiang Working Committee. In order to facilitate the struggle against the enemy, they moved their home from the prosperous Taijiang River to the relatively remote Chang'an Village in Xiahu Township.
There, Yang Ruiyu worked day and night, handling confidential documents and engraving revolutionary documents during the day, and was not idle at night, often taking risks to pass on instructions and important information from his superiors.
Zhuang Zheng said: "You have become a workaholic. Yang Ruiyu replied: "I want to make up for the time lost in the enemy's prison." Zhuang Zheng jokingly said: "Then how to make up for the love we have delayed in the past few years?" ”
Yang Ruiyu said with a smile: "When the revolution succeeds, double the repayment!" "Even though she works every day, she still has a love for beauty, just because she is busy with work and doesn't have time to dress up.
Wrinkles had crept up on her forehead, and there were already a few gray hairs in her black hair, which made her look a little older than her actual age.
Zhuang Zheng and Yang Ruiyu's home on Chang'an Avenue in Fuzhou was an important stronghold of the revolution. Yang Ruiyu brought her relatives in to work together, and when she was busy, her younger brother delivered the letter and her mother was on guard.
But the working environment is very harsh, the time is tight, and mistakes are inevitable. Zhuang Zheng did not ask the organization for instructions when he turned himself in, which is understandable. But he did not do so when he could report to his superiors, which was a violation of discipline, a misunderstanding of the organization, and a foreshadowing of the tragedy.
Despite this, their revolutionary will was strong, they were tortured and imprisoned by the enemy, and they bravely survived with their love and loyalty to the revolutionary cause. For the safety of the provincial party committee, Zhuang Zheng abandoned his beloved wife and took his lover as a hostage, which was even more touching.
After Zhuang Zheng and his wife were killed, their son was still in swaddling clothes and needed to be taken care of. Today, their children are in their seventies.
Zhuang Kangxing deeply felt the greatness of his parents, and at the same time expressed his understanding of the organization's decision. He is convinced that the organization will come to a fair conclusion. At the end of the 50s of the last century, under the care of the organization, Mao, Zhou, Deng and others formed a five-member team to investigate the "Ministry of Urban Industry" incident, and the ten-year grievances of Zhuang Zheng and Yang Ruiyu were finally rehabilitated.
Ye Fei, who was the secretary of Fujian at the time, personally sent the plaque of "Revolutionary Martyr" to Zhuang Kangxing's home, which made him admire it very much.
I hope that my father's indelible Longshan spirit can continue to be inherited and carried forward in the new historical period. ”
