In order to further strengthen campus safety education and improve the ability of teachers and students to deal with emergencies, on the afternoon of February 27, Mingde School in Wangjiaping, Huitong County, specially planned the "First Lesson of School Safety: Campus Earthquake Safety Evacuation Drill". When the alarm sounded, all teachers and students evacuated from the classroom to the safe area of the playground, which lasted 1 minute and 55 seconds, and the whole drill process was fast, safe and orderly.

In order to ensure the orderly development of the activities, the school formulated a detailed drill plan before the drill, and clearly stipulated the evacuation routes of each class and the responsibilities of each teacher. The head teacher gave the students relevant safety education in advance, and explained the actions and precautions for escape in the event of a disaster. When the disaster alarm sounded, the students quickly hugged their heads, curled up their bodies, and took refuge under the desks under the guidance of the class teacher, and after 10 seconds of strong earthquake, the students were organized to quickly evacuate the classroom from the front door and the back door, and squatted in an orderly manner in the safety of the playground. The entire evacuation process was swift and orderly, and there was no confusion.

After the safety evacuation drill, the vice principal in charge of safety of the school made a concluding speech on the drill, emphasizing that all teachers and students should take this drill as an opportunity to actively carry out earthquake prevention and disaster reduction knowledge and skills learning, and emphasized the importance of emergency response ability in case of emergencies.

In the new semester, the school will continue to strengthen campus safety education, regularly carry out safety evacuation drills, enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students and improve the ability to respond to emergencies, escort campus safety, and lay a solid foundation for creating a "safe and harmonious campus".
