In 1922, under the introduction of Zhang Tailei, Qu Qiubai joined the Communist Party. At the end of that year, when Chen Duxiu went to Moscow on behalf of the Communist Party of China, it was Qu Qiubai who served as an interpreter.
At the 1927 87 Conference, Li Weihan, Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei, Deng Zhongxia, Ren Bishi, Gu Shunzhang, Cai Hesen, and Lu Ding attended the meeting.

Who doesn't know "Qu Qiubai"!However, what few people know is that Qu Qiubai has no children of his own in his life, and his daughter Qu Duyi, who he regards as his own, is actually the child of Yang Zhihua and Shen Jianlong.
In 1923, when Yang Zhihua was admitted to Shanghai University in sociology, Qu Qiubai happened to be the head of the Department of Sociology.
Before meeting Qu Qiubai, Yang Zhihua had already married and had a daughter.
In 1921, 20-year-old Yang Zhihua married Shen Jianlong, the son of Shen Dingyi, a famous person in modern times.
After Yang Zhihua and Shen Jianlong got married, the relationship between the two was very harmonious at first, but soon, Shen Jianlong couldn't bear the monotony of life, packed his bags and went to Shanghai alone, indulging in the bright lights of Shanghai.
But Yang Zhihua was already pregnant, and at the home of Shen Dingyi's old friend Shao Lizi, Yang Zhihua gave birth to a daughter named Shen Xiaoguang.
Husband Shen Jianlong was intoxicated and did not want to forge ahead, which made Yang Zhihua unbearable, slowly, she lost hope in her marriage, in order to express her resentment towards her husband Shen Jianlong, Yang Zhihua changed the name of her daughter "Duyi", which means only one.
At the end of 1922, Yang Zhihua went to Shanghai alone to participate in the women's movement. At the end of 1923, she was admitted to the Department of Sociology of Shanghai University, where she became acquainted with Qu Qiubai.
When Yang Zhihua was suffering from an unhappy marriage, Qu Qiubai was in grief over the loss of his beloved wife Wang Jianhong. They often talked freely about their hearts and minds together, as well as about revolutionary work.
Yang Zhihua felt that Qu Qiubai was a very sincere, sincere and enthusiastic person, and his strength could often be felt when working with him. With the help of Qu Qiubai, Yang Zhihua joined the party organization.
The relationship between Yang Zhihua and Qu Qiubai deepened day by day, but obviously, there was another person between them, and that was Shen Jianlong.
In the end, Yang Zhihua, Qu Qiubai, and Shen Jianlong met and talked all night.
Shen Jianlong and Yang Zhihua's marriage is the order of their parents, both of them are suffering in this unhappy marriage, after Shen Jianlong and Qu Qiubai met, they admired Qu Qiubai's personality very much, and decided to end the marriage.
On the same day, two notices were published on the "**" hosted by Shao Lizi, one was the divorce of Yang Zhihua and Shen Jianlong; There is also a marriage between Yang Zhihua and Qu Qiubai.

On November 7, 1924, Yang Zhihua married Qu Qiubai. After getting married, Qu Qiubai and Yang Zhihua managed to pick up their daughter who was fostered in the Shen family.
This child will be called "Qu Duyi" in the future, although there is no blood relationship, but Qu Qiubai still gave Qu Duyi the love of his biological father, he loved his daughter, called Qu Duyi "good daughter", Qu Duyi also called Qu Qiubai "good father".
When Qu Duyi was very young, Qu Qiubai taught him to write and draw. Qu Duyi later said: "I don't have any impression of my biological father, and I don't have a ** of his, in my heart, my father is Qu Qiubai." ”
During that turbulent war years, Qu Qiubai's time with his daughter was short-lived, and in 1935, when Qu Qiubai was carrying out guerrilla struggle, he was captured by the enemy. On June 18, 1935, Qu Qiubai calmly took up justice and sacrificed his young life for the revolution.
When Qu Qiubai died, Qu Duyi was studying abroad, she saw the newspaper that reported her father, she cried and fainted on the spot, and the school teacher quickly put perfume on her, and she woke up.
The time Qu Qiubai sacrificed was the first time Qu Duyi knew his father's position.
Qu Duyi grew up under the education of her parents since she was a child, and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, she successively worked in the Moscow Branch of Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Russian Group of the International Department of Xinhua News Agency.
On November 26, 2021, Qu Duyi passed away in Beijing.
