A drunken argument between him and his favored Zhang Guiren eventually leads to his tragic end. Zhang Guiren was humiliated by Sima Ji because he was dissatisfied and suffocated to death while he was drunk. This emperor, who had made a difference, ended his reign in such a tragic way.
