When I embarked on the journey of the Au Pair program, I realized that it would be a journey of challenge and growth.
My main task was to take care of the children of my host family, which was a huge test of my personal responsibility and problem-solving skills.
But this is only part of the project, there are many more challenges to face and overcome.
Language has been one of the big challenges I've had on this journey.
Although I knew a little bit about the local language, it was a new experience to actually apply it to my life.
I actively participate in local language courses and constantly strive to improve my language skills.
However, faced with different accents and expression habits, I had to overcome communication barriers and keep experimenting and improving in order to better integrate into the local community.
Integrating into the local Au Pair organization was also a challenge.
In this group, I met Au Pairs from all over the world, and we shared our experiences and challenges in a foreign country.
In the collision of different cultures and backgrounds, understanding and respect become the key to mutual communication.
In the process, I learned to be more open to different perspectives and habits.
Travelling was also a challenge on this journey.
Exploring unfamiliar places and adapting to different lifestyles and cultural habits has made me constantly adjust my mindset and attitude.
Being exposed to new things and experiences, while sometimes confusing and uncomfortable, has also taught me how to cope and adapt.
The project was full of challenges, but it also contained a lot of growth.
I learned to look at things from different perspectives and to accept and respect different cultures and habits.
Overcoming language barriers and social difficulties has made me more resilient and confident.
This experience was not only a test of my ability, but also a profound experience of diversity and inclusion in the world, and I reaped the joy of growth and achievement.
