IT Home News on February 1, Apple announced today that there will be more than 600 space applications specially built for the headset on the day of the Vision Pro release, which will be available in the United States this Friday.

These apps optimized for Vision Pro include Airmail, Box, Carrot Weather, Disney+, Fantastical, Facades, Jigspace, Mubi, Night Sky, Omniplan 4, Parcel, PCALC, Red Bull TV, Sky Guide, Tides, WebEx, Zoom, and many more. Apps like Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word in the Microsoft 365 suite also natively support VisionOS.

Apple says the apps will revolutionize the way people interact in entertainment, work, and more, by taking advantage of Vision Pro's unique features, including an infinitely scalable virtual screen, an intuitive 3D user interface, and eye, gesture, and voice interactions. Vision Pro creates an uninhibited virtual space for users that breaks the limits of traditional displays. Users can interact with their eyes, gestures, and voice through an intuitive three-dimensional interface. Whether it's immersive cinematic viewing, collaborative creation, or virtual travel, Vision Pro delivers an experience like never before.

"With Apple's Vision Pro and the power of spatial computing, we are able to deliver an innovative immersive experience that brings golfers up close and personal to the game of professional golf," said Scott Gutterman, senior vice president of digital operations at PGA Tour. PGA Tour Vision is the first golf app developed specifically for Apple's Vision Pro, allowing fans to feel like they're in the middle of the world, such as Pebble Beach and TPC Sawgrass, no matter where they are. ”

The NBA app has also landed on the Vision Pro platform, allowing fans to stream up to five different games live at the same time and view scores and stats.

HBO Chairman Casey Bloys added: "With the Max app, developed specifically for Apple's Vision Pro, fans can transform their space into the Hall of the Iron Throne and immerse themselves in classic Game of Thrones scenes. The beautiful Targaryen decorations will make fans feel like they are in Westeros during the reign of that dynasty, with immersive** content from the Max app. ”

In addition, more than a million iOS and iPadOS-compatible apps will be automatically available when Vision Pro becomes available.
