I was deeply impressed by Dean Zhang Jianjun's book "Whole Life Cycle Nursing Ability Development and Combination of Medical Care and Elderly Care - Theory and Practice". This book not only covers Dean Zhang Jianjun's personal description and understanding of all aspects of the whole life cycle cultivation ability, but also expounds the vivid and detailed cases he has encountered in his practice, and conducts in-depth analysis and integration of this "meta-theory" with specific practice. It has given me a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the whole life cycle nourishment ability.
First of all, what is nurturing ability? Cultivation ability refers to "the sum of an individual's ability to take care of himself, support himself, and the ability to take care of others and support others", that is, the sum of personal life + the ability to take care of others' lives. The theory of the development of the whole life cycle nourishment ability refers to the ability of human beings to live in a regular way since birth and with the continuous progress of the time axis. This book emphasizes that nurturing ability is a long-term, ever-changing ability to live, which requires attention and response throughout the life cycle from birth to old age, which is very important, because we need different nurturing abilities at different ages, and as we grow older, each of us is constantly changing, which leads to the continuous change of our needs and services.
The theory of the development of the whole life cycle of nourishment capacity has discovered the main context and main clues of the problems of fertility, nurturing, health care, medical care and maintenance in the whole life cycle of human beings, and has given answers to the dynamic mechanism and law of the development of the whole life cycle of nourishment, and constructed a meta-theoretical research framework and discourse system for the problem of "raising" from infants and young children to the elderly. In this book, Dean Zhang Jianjun pioneered the seven life ability assessment indicators in the "Life Ability Assessment Form" formulated by him when he was the director of Lushang Group Freda Nursing Home, and divided a person's life into three periods, namely "growth period", "adulthood" and "old age". For example, the geriatric department of the hospital, the relevant colleges and universities that have added the specialty of elderly clothing, the elderly care institutions, the nursing home with the combination of medical care and elderly care, and other projects or related scientific research institutions, can conduct more in-depth analysis and research on the changes in the nine major systems of the human body and the change trend, state and judgment criteria of the elderly in the three stages of "old age" and the three stages of "vitality, transition and disability", so as to understand the real life needs of the elderly and provide a better research and practice direction for solving the problems of medical care and services for the elderly.
As far as the "Zhang Jianjun Cultivation Ability Assessment Form" and the "Zhang Jianjun Cultivation Ability Grading Table" formulated by President Zhang Jianjun are concerned, this evaluation form has played a unique role in my work. In the past, in the actual operation of elderly care institutions, practitioners often used the "Assessment of the Ability of the Elderly" (MZ T039-2013 of the Ministry of Civil Affairs) as the basis for judging the living ability of the elderly. The ability assessment form divides the elderly into four levels, namely "intact ability, mild disability, moderate disability, and severe disability", and designs 4 first-level indicators and 22 second-level indicators. In the daily use of nursing institutions, this ** is very complex and professional, except for the staff with a high level of education, medical experience or has systematically learned the assessment method, it is difficult for others to use and understand this assessment scale. The actual operators of nursing institutions should have encountered a problem: the physical condition of each elderly person has its own characteristics, and there is no exact same physical state, and only in terms of the level of "moderate disability", it may present a kaleidoscopic variety of different conditions. And the actual content of care and service needs for each condition varies greatly.
Self-support Assessment Form for the Elderly.
In the author's opinion, for a nursing institution, the assessment should not be a work or task carried out by a few staff members when the elderly are staying, and the status of the assessee reflected in the assessment of the ability of the elderly should be linked to the service content of the institution. The "Assessment of the Ability of the Elderly" (MZ T039-2013 of the Ministry of Civil Affairs) only divides the elderly into four levels, which is too general, and the relevance of the corresponding nursing fees and care plans of nursing institutions according to the assessment results is not high. However, the "Zhang Jianjun Nursing Ability Assessment Form" designed by Dean Zhang Jianjun directly solves the problem of low relevance of the "Ability Assessment for the Elderly" (MZ T039-2013 of the Ministry of Civil Affairs), and its intuitive, easy-to-learn, and easy-to-grasp characteristics greatly reduce the difficulty of my work and improve the work efficiency of the nursing institution. First of all, the content of the evaluation designed by Dean Zhang Jianjun is simple and easy to understand, the evaluation time is greatly shortened, and the work efficiency of the evaluators is improved. Secondly, because this ** is simple and easy to understand, any staff in the organization can read and understand, and the front desk staff and nursing staff can use this **; Furthermore, because the assessment items in this ** are very highly related to the specific first-line nursing content, the results of the evaluation according to this ** can be directly cited into the nursing plan and nursing priorities and difficulties; In addition, the grading of this evaluation scale is more detailed, which provides more accurate guidance for me to design the pricing of institutional nursing fees, and creates more space for sales staff to market.
